Internet of things (IoT) merupakan sebuah konsep komputasi yang menghubungkan sebuah benda atau objek ke perangkat lain sehingga mampu berkomunikasi dan bertukar data yang terhubung dengan internet. Teknologi IoT banyak diterapkan dalam berbagai bidang khususnya dalam bidang kelistrikan. Saat ini sistem otomasi dalam bidang kelistrikan dengan menggunakan teknologi IoT sangat berkembang sehingga dibutuhkan sumber daya manusia yang mampu memahami teknologi IoT. Siswa SMK jurusan Teknik Intalasi Tenaga Listrik merupakan sumbar daya manusia yang bergerak di bidang kelistrikan. Dari hasil observasi dan interview di lapangan bahwa Siswa SMK jurusan Teknik Intalasi Tenaga Listrik masih minim pemahamannya terkait sistem otomasi dengan menggunakan teknologi IoT dan penerapannya di bidang kelistrikan. Untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan pengetahuan siswa SMK terkait Teknologi IoT dan penerapannya dilaksanakan workshop. Workshop dilaksanakan selama dua hari dengan menyampaikan pengenalan teknologi IoT dan siswa mempraktekkan penerapan teknologi IoT. Siswa membuat rangkaian listrik dengan menghubungkan berupa sensor suhu, relay dan mikrokontroler berbasis Arduino. Setelah siswa mengikuti kegiatan workshop dilakukan evaluasi. Dari hasil evaluasi diperoleh bahwa 93,33% siswa paham dengan teknologi IoT dan penerapannya dibidang kelistrikan.
Recently there have been many cases of spoliation and motorbike theft in various cities throughout Indonesia. Spoliation occurs regardless of time and place. One of the preventive efforts is to create a system that can improve the motorcycle security system by using the Internet of Things (IoT). This article will discuss the use of IoT technology to help the safety and security of motorists, as well as motorbikes by designing an anti-theft alarm prototype. This alarm has the intelligence to force perpetrators of motorcycle robbery or theft to thwart their actions with vibration sensors attached to motorcycles to detect dangerous movements. This alarm can forcibly shut down the motorcycle engine when used as a whole, even with a kick starter. This system can also start the motorcycle engine and locate the position of the motorcycle. All systems can be run using two network modes, internet, and hotspot. This study uses an experimental method by implementing a database platform in the form of SQL hosted in the cloud and real-time with NodeMCU as a microcontroller to present the IoT concept in implementing the anti-theft alarm function. The SW18015 sensor is used for alarm detection to detect excessive rattling of motorcycles such as breaking into a motorcycle handlebar lock. This hazard signal actuator activates the motorcycle horn and also the hazard lamp which functions as a warning signal. Engine control is applied to the motorcycle ignition system and the spark plug components on the motorcycle cannot produce fire. Locating the position of the motorcycle by turning on the horn and straightening the lights is a signal of the presence of the motorcycle. These three anti-theft alarm functions can be used as an effective motorcycle safety lock with an alarm detection accuracy value of 80% for 100% monitoring and 100% engine control.

The technique in hydroponic plants is the fertigation system. This technique applies nutrients through the irrigation system. The application of the fertigation system is not only for hydroponic plants. This system can also be applied to plants that use soil as their growing media. Watering activities are usually done regularly and manually. Where the water pumping machine is activated manually and water will flow through the plants through the installation of pipes / hoses. This watering system can be controlled via the internet using Mobile, known as the Internet of Things (IoT). By applying IoT to the fertigation system it will simplify and also improve the quality of plants because fertilization and irrigation activities can be carried out continuously. The design of this fertigation system uses ESP32 microcontroller to regulate watering the plants at 8 am and 4 pm. Fertigation implementation uses the IoT concept with notifications sent to users during a watering alarm, after watering and when the water supply will run out.

Dalam satu dekade terakhir, belum banyak ditemukan penelitian yang membahas tentang kemajuan penggunaan Internet of Things (IoT) di industri konstruksi Indonesia. Di era industri 4.0 seperti sekarang ini, dibutuhkan sebuah penelitian untuk mengetahui perkembangan IoT di industri konstruksi baik di Indonesia maupun di luar negeri, dan mengetahui kesenjangan di antaranya. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan metode bibliometrik dengan software Publish or Perish 7. Data akan dikelompokkan dalam lima ranah pada industri konstruksi yang sangat terpengaruh dengan masuknya IoT yaitu: construction safety, machine control, site management, fleet management dan project management. Dari penelitian didapati bahwa Cina merupakan negara dengan kemajuan penggunaan IoT paling pesat dimana ranah yang paling banyak dibahas adalah terkait construction safety. Internet of Things is another addition to the internet network and objects that are connected between one another, with a purpose that can be used, more efficiency and benefits because something can be done in different places. This study discusses Door Lock, which is the development of the Internet of Things with problems in conventional locking which can be duplicated if lent to others, cannot be accessed directly if the door is forced, opened or unlocked remotely. The development method uses a virtual prototype method, the results obtained will be obtained using black-box testing. From the results of this study, it was found that the door lock can buy an access key to open/lock the key, approve if the lock is forced and also can open/lock the key remotely.
