Abstract
In the cloud environment, resources are shared among all of the servers, users and individuals. So it is difficult for the cloud provider to ensure file security. As a result, it is very easy for an intruder to access, misuse and destroy the original form of data. In case of compromise at any cost; entrusting cloud is of no use. A need for "practically strong and infeasible to get attacked" technique becomes vital. The paper presents the file security model which uses the concept of hybrid encryption scheme to meet security needs. In the proposed model, encryption and decryption of files at cloud servers done using blowfish and modified version of RSA. Further, it is tested in cloud environment: Open Nebula.

Cloud computing is a model that delivers various set of services which a user can avail over the internet on rent basis. Nowadays, cloud computing has attained great prominence due to various reasons for instance, on demand resource sharing and online storage of data. However, security is one of the major task that hinder the growth of cloud computing. Due to this security issue, organizations are reluctant towards cloud computing despite of having various features. Hence, the major concern of this research work is to ensure cloud security. For this, a hybrid encryption system has been proposed that merges the accessibility of a public-key cryptosystem (using RSA) with the proficiency of a symmetric key cryptosystem (via AES). This hybrid technique is a two way secured data encryption system, which focusses on the matters related to user’s privacy, authentication and accuracy. This hybrid algorithm offers more security along with authentication in comparison to other hybrid algorith...

In this era cloud computing is used in various fields like industry, military, college, etc. for various services and storage of huge amount of data. Data stored in this cloud can be accessed or retrieved on the users request without direct access to the server computer. But the major concern regarding storage of data online that is on the cloud is the Security. This Security concern can be solved using various ways, the most commonly used techniques are cryptography and steganography. But sometimes a single technique or algorithm alone cannot provide high-level security. So we have introduces a new security mechanism that uses a combination of multiple cryptographic algorithms of symmetric key and steganography. In this proposed system 3DES (Triple Data Encryption Standard), RC6 (Rivest Cipher 6) and AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) algorithms are used to provide security to data. All the algorithms use 128-bit keys. LSB steganography technique is used to securely store the key information. Key information will contain the information regarding the encrypted part of the file, the algorithm and the key for the algorithm. File during encryption is split into three parts. These individual parts of the file will be encrypted using different encryption algorithm simultaneously with the help of multithreading technique. The key information is inserted into an image using the LSB technique. Our methodology guarantees better security and protection of customer data by storing encrypted data on a single cloud server, using AES, 3DES and RC6 algorithm.

In the present circumstances, the Cloud Computing is very wellknown and flexible technology. It provides massive data centre to handle the large amount of information. The Cloud Computing benefits the organizations to handle their large volume of information. The major issue in cloud computing is data security, because most of the customers are sharing same cloud. This study aims at designing a new security method by using a hybrid cryptosystem, for data security in the cloud. The necessity for the current investigation is to protect data from unauthorized access or hackers in cloud at the time of data transmission by encrypting the user data. Cloud computing constitutes several security issues including data access control, identity management, auditing, integrity control and risk management. So, this hybrid cryptosystem is designed and comprises of both symmetric and asymmetric cryptography algorithm in which Blowfish symmetric algorithm deals with data confidentiality whereas, RSA asymmetric algorithm deals with an authentication. This method also includes the Secure Hash Algorithm-256 (SHA-256) for data integrity. This study concluded that the proposed method provides high security on data transmission over the internet and proper network access on demand to a shared tank of constructive computing resources, like net, server, and storage application.

Data stored in the cloud is increasingly gaining popularity for all users including personal, institutions and business purposes. The data is usually highly protected, encrypted and replicated depending on the security and scalability needs. Despite the advances in technology, the practical usefulness and longevity of cloud storage is limited in today’s systems. This paper provides a solution to the problem of securely storing the client’s data by maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of the data within the cloud. This paper addresses the problem of ensuring data confidentiality against cloud and against accesses beyond authorized rights. To resolve these issues, we designed a data encryption model that is in charge of storing data in an encrypted format in the cloud. To improve the efficiency of the designed architecture, the service in form of the model designed allows the users to choose the level of security of the data and according to this level different encryption al...

Hacking became a serious drawback lately. Transference of secure knowledge or communication through the web turns out to be difficult because of security considerations. to anticipate these security hurdles, we tend to use Cryptography, and Image Steganography. Day's cloud computing is currently employed in several areas like business, colleges, and Universities to store a great amount of knowledge. We will extract knowledge from the cloud for the asking of users. To store knowledge on the cloud we've to face several errors and issues. Cryptography and steganography techniques area unit well-liked currently a day's for knowledge security. using one algorithmic rule isn't effective for prime-level security to knowledge in cloud computing. during this paper, we initiated a new security mechanism using symmetrical key cryptography algorithmic rules and steganography. during this projected system AES, blowfish, RC6, and 3DES algorithms area units were used to supply blockwise security to knowledge. All algorithms have a key size of 128 bits. Key data contains that a part of the file is encrypted using that algorithmic rule and key. The file is split into eight components. every part of the file is encrypted using different algorithmic rules. All components of the file area unit are encrypted at the same time with the assistance of the multithreading technique. encoding Keys area unit inserted into cowl image using LSB technique. Steganography image is sent to a valid receiver using email. For file secret writing purposes reverse method of cryptography is applied.

Information security is the number one priority for any establishment concerned with its growth and privacy of its data. Attackers have devised a variety of strategies to get access to organizations' databases, both on cloud and offline systems. The incorporation of both cryptography and cloud folder model to secure cloud based storage presented in this paper, is a contemporary approach to securing cloud storage. The Cloud Folder Model adds to the storage strength. It serves as a significant deterrent against eavesdropping and injection assaults on the cloud storage. The model leverages RSA and AES data encryption, as well as a folder concept for storing the files in the cloud. It only enables authorized entities to have access to data and rejects suspicions and fraudulent attempts to access secured data. The system also created a mechanism that utilizes public and private keys. The system is be divided into two sections: online and offline. Data is encrypted using RSA and the Advanced Encryption Standard on the offline side (AES) while the online system adds to the encrypted data's security by guarding against injection attacks and data eavesdropping in transit. Our result shows that the new system provides better security for cloud storage than the existing system.
