🐎One plaque tells our history. The other shapes our future. At the #ImperialRidingSchool, our heritage is something we proudly preserve. Today, alongside the historic plaque that reflects our equestrian past, we are proud to add a new milestone to our story: the Austrian Ecolabel (Österreichisches Umweltzeichen, UZ200-708) plaque. Our environmental initiatives include: 💧App-controlled irrigation systems help us avoid unnecessary water consumption. ♻️We use waste heat from our cooling systems to heat water using heat recovery technology. ⚡Window sensors and motion detectors in all guest rooms help prevent unnecessary energy consumption, while lighting in guest rooms and public areas that has been converted to 100% LED ensures greater efficiency. 🌱Our garden features native plants, a wildflower meadow, insect hotels, bird baths, and feeding stations. With bat boxes and beehives on the roof, we also provide habitat for local wildlife.🐝🍯 🍽️Through our partnership with “Too Good To Go,” we help give surplus food a second life. 🔎Discover the hidden stories of Vienna’s Landstraße district… The UNTOLD Vienna Walk is no ordinary city tour. It’s an invitation to see the third district of Vienna through new eyes. Over the course of two hours, Markus Hübl, an art educator with more than 30 years of experience in Viennese museums such as the Belvedere, the Leopold Museum, and the Heidi Horten Collection, as well as a passionate storyteller, guides participants through the creative heart around Ungargasse. With a keen eye for detail and a touch of humor, he draws attention to hidden courtyards, historic façades, and places that whisper stories of transformation, new beginnings, and artistic diversity. The tour begins at the Imperial Riding School, Autograph Collection, whose rich history is reflected in both its architecture and atmosphere. From there, participants explore the surrounding neighborhood, where past and present meet at every turn. The experience is intentionally designed to be interactive: in a small group of up to 15 participants, there is space for spontaneous questions, personal conversations, and unexpected perspectives. Vienna’s largest inner-city private garden is officially open for the season!🌿 🔥Yesterday marked the official start of our Ausklang BBQ series at Elstar Garden, setting the tone for a summer of long evenings and shared plates. From now until the end of August, our Garden BBQ takes place every Thursday to Saturday from 5 PM to 9 PM (weather permitting☀️). Open grill stations, dishes made for sharing, seasonal flavors, and a relaxed garden atmosphere create the perfect setting for after-work gatherings and summer evenings in the city. 🎶 Thursdays at Ausklang come with live DJ lounge sounds, shaping the rhythm of the evening as the garden gently transitions into night. ✨ Thursday Special: Lillet Tower & Feierabendbrettl A relaxed pairing to ease into long summer evenings with friends or colleagues. Set within 2,000 square meters of greenery, Elstar Garden offers a unique escape from the city’s pace. Beneath the canopy of our 150-year-old plane tree, surrounded by historic architecture and warm summer light, the garden becomes a place to slow down, arrive, and stay a little longer.
