North American firms are rethinking what the front office needs to move faster. Our new podcast with WBR brings together Abbey Brewer, Head of Strategy, Americas at SimCorp, and Laura (Dissinger) Kayrouz, Senior Partner and Global Co-Head of Investments at Alpha FMC, to unpack the integration-first approach shaping North America, and what it takes to turn faster reconciliation into fewer reasons to reconcile at all. The bigger opportunity: giving the front office insight it can act on, not just access to more of it. Listen now: https://lnkd.in/eh-UkZt7

  • Financial services is entering an AI‑driven decade, and Alpha is investing to lead from the front as it supports clients in navigating this new landscape and unlocking the opportunities that it presents. You will know Alpha as a leading global consultancy to the financial services industry. We pride ourselves on bringing together specialist industry knowledge, deep expertise, data and technology enablers, and market-leading talent. Now, we're scaling our AI capabilities: building internal tools that optimise how we work, developing sector‑specific solutions for clients, strengthening strategic partnerships to optimise our proposition. We're delighted to be reinforcing that commitment with the appointment of Sam Browning as our new Group Head of AI. Sam brings deep sector expertise and leadership experience from high‑growth AI organisations. With this investment, we will accelerate the value we deliver; helping financial institutions deploy AI safely, responsibly, and with real impact. Hear from Luc Baqué, Sam Browning, and Neil Curham on what this means for Alpha and how we're helping financial institutions unlock the value of AI. If you're exploring how AI will reshape financial services and how it can transform what you do, we'd be delighted to talk.

At our first Heads of Client Reporting Forum in London on Tuesday, the key takeaway was clear: the future of Client Reporting isn't just producing reports more efficiently, it's delivering high-value, personalised insight that demonstrates why this manager and this product are the right choice for the client mandate. Three things stood out: 1️⃣Data is really an influence problem. 89% of participants again named data availability and quality as their top constraint. This is not a surprise. What was interesting was what leaders are doing about it. Those making progress aren't waiting for the CDO to fix things, and they aren't quietly absorbing the pain either. They're building shared accountability and earning a real voice in enterprise data programmes to drive the change they need. 2️⃣The case for AI is selective, not sweeping. Nobody is replacing core reporting platforms with AI tools at any scale right now and AI-generated content at scale still carries too much risk for most managers. The real interest is in risk reduction: 44% expect anomaly detection and automated data checks to have the biggest impact over the next two years. 3️⃣Leaders are being asked to transform and optimise at the same time. Nobody placed themselves beyond stage three of our five-stage maturity curve, yet ambitions, expectations on client outcomes, data and AI keep rising alongside a headwind of cost pressure. Thank you to everyone who joined and shared so candidly, it was a fantastic discussion. See you in the autumn. If your firm is rethinking its client reporting operating model, we'd welcome the conversation. Emily Eleazar Chyavan Rees Mark Webb

Insurers managing large, diversified portfolios face a data challenge that traditional asset managers simply don't — investment decisions that must simultaneously serve ALM, actuarial, compliance, and regulatory obligations, often from siloed data environments. We partnered with Alpha FMC to examine how this plays out in practice, and what modern enterprise data management looks like for firms navigating this complexity. Get the full framework.
