  • Important changes coming May 1st. The STC rebate is determined by: ✔ STC factor (set by the year) ✔ Usable battery capacity The higher the factor = the higher the rebate. The current factor (Jan–Apr), is 8.4. From May 1, it will go down to 6.8. Please read below to see how this can affect your rebate.

  • At Greenbank Environmental, what truly sets us apart isn’t just our technical expertise in renewable energy compliance and certificates — it’s how we respond when things don’t go perfectly. We learn from mistakes. Not quietly. Not defensively. We review them, unpack them, and ask: 👉 What caused this? 👉 Where was the confusion? 👉 How can we prevent it next time? Then we act. We create practical guides. If we see repeated questions from installers, retailers, or partners, we don’t answer them one by one forever — we build clear, structured guidance so everyone benefits. Simple. Repeatable. Transparent. We identify the source of confusion. Regulatory schemes evolve. Standards change. Programs get updated. Instead of blaming the complexity, we map it out. We interpret it. We translate it into plain language so our partners can move forward with confidence. And most importantly — we listen. Feedback isn’t something we tolerate. It’s something we actively seek. Some of our best process improvements have come directly from conversations with clients and installers on the ground. Compliance isn’t just about ticking boxes. It’s about building systems that are clear, fair, and continuously improving. That mindset — continuous learning, structured improvement, and genuine collaboration — is what sets us apart. If you value transparency, accountability, and a team that’s committed to getting better every day, we’d love to work with you. #RenewableEnergy #Compliance #ContinuousImprovement #Sustainability #CleanEnergy #GreenbankEnvironmental

  • I’ve known John Grimes for over twenty years, and in that time he’s been not only a colleague, but a mentor and a constant source of inspiration. John is truly dynamic — an action man who doesn’t just talk about change, he drives it. As the CEO of the Smart Energy Council, he brings integrity, courage and real momentum to the sector. He has an extraordinary ability to turn vision into action and unite people behind a shared purpose. Inspired by leaders like John, I will continue to build and run Greenbank and contribute at board level myself, carrying forward the same commitment to strong governance, decisive action and a clean energy future. Looking forward to working with him again. John has certainly left some big shoes to fill and myself and the team and Greenbank are excited to follow along with this new venture. All the best John! - Ria, Greenbank CEO

  • 🤓 Did you know only 17% of solar panels are currently recycled, and increasing this could unlock up to 7.3 BILLION in benefits through reduced waste and reuse of materials. ☀️ The Albanese Government will invest $24.7 million over three years to deliver a national pilot for recycling solar panels and establish up to 100 pilot collection sites nationwide. 💰 The need for this program is highlighted in a report from the Productivity Commission into circularity in Australia’s economy which has been released today and specifically recommends the establishment of a solar panel recycling scheme. ♻️ More information: https://lnkd.in/gSriGFym
