At Heidi, we believe the people delivering care should help shape the AI that's transforming it. Today, we're excited to announce Heidi's inaugural U.S. Customer Advisory Board, bringing together 12 healthcare leaders across primary care, behavioral health, and specialty medicine to help shape the future of our AI Care Partner platform. Together, they'll help ensure the products we build reflect clinical workflows, solve real problems, and continue to earn the trust of the clinicians who use them every day. Big news: Innowell × Heidi Health. Innowell has partnered with Heidi to help mental health services support more clients and spend more time on care. By combining Innowell's clinical intelligence with Heidi's AI-powered documentation, the integration saves clinicians up to 5 hours each week, time that goes back to clients, not paperwork. "When clinicians spend less time on administration, they can spend more time delivering care," said Bianca Bowron-Cuthill (GAICD), CEO of Innowell. The partnership comes as Australia's mental health system faces rising demand alongside ongoing workforce shortages. “Every minute a clinician spends catching up on notes is time that could be dedicated to patients Heidi is designed to reduce the burden of clinical documentation so clinicians can stay focused on the conversation in front of them. Through this integration with Innowell, clinicians can spend less time on administration and more time delivering informed care,” said Dr Simon Kos, Chief Medical Officer, Heidi. Healthcare AI Guy did a company deep dive on Heidi. "The job is to give the correct clinical answer, even if it is inconvenient." That's Dr. Thomas Kelly, Heidi's Co-Founder and CEO, talking about why clinical AI needs its own bar for quality and safety. Heidi started with Scribe. The deep dive covers where it's headed next: why the visit holds more clinical value than the note, why quality and safety are the long-term moat, and how agentic workflows fit across the care journey. Read the full deep dive, linked in the comments.

I used Heidi to do clinic admin for the first time today, and I cried happy tears 🥺. Thank you Care ADHD! Anyone who has worked in Psychiatry in the NHS, particularly CMHT jobs, would know how much of our clinical work is admin compared to the actual time with patients. My work life balance over the years would’ve been massively different with something like this. I’m feeling grief. I’m feeling relief. I’m feeling hope, and a massive weight lifted off my shoulders. This isn’t insignificant or an optional luxury. From where I see it, it has a direct impact on clinicians’ health, patient care and staff retention. It was a loss of innumerable extra hours that I will not get back, which could’ve been spent with my young children / elderly parents. Thank you Dr. Amit Chougule MD,MRCPsych for sending me a set of pro tips as someone who had started using it before me as part of CPFT’s AVT pilots. And thank you to some lovely colleagues at Care who supported today to get familiar with it. My humble opinion is that the NHS can’t afford to NOT use tools like this, given the workforce crisis and service pressures. As with all things AI, not to replace human touch or decision making, but to augment efficiency and improve patient / staff experience. #AI #Neurodiversity #Healthtech

Heidi is joining the Digital Medicine Society (DiMe) in building the first open source AI governance toolkit for healthcare organizations. "AI is moving into healthcare faster than governance can keep pace," said Jessie Young, President, North America, Heidi. “This work reflects what we're already seeing across the industry, and Heidi is looking forward to helping build something clinicians and health systems can put to use.” Most governance frameworks show up after the tools are already in use. This one is being built alongside the industry deploying them. Full press release in comments.

Canadian clinicians lose nearly 20 million hours a year to paperwork. We wanted to know what happens when that burden lifts. So we measured it. Today we're releasing Giving time back to care, our first Canadian Impact Report. Across five completed pilots in Ontario and Alberta, spanning 333 clinicians and more than 111,770 documented visits, Heidi saved an average of 13 minutes per visit, returning 25,098+ clinical hours to care teams which is an estimated $2.51M in combined savings. When we think about deploying Heidi across thousands of care sites in the country, the savings are significant. This is time that can be redirected from paperwork back to patient care and unlock system capacity without the need for additional tech infrastructure or staff. https://bit.ly/4vEODPG

The team at Heidi Health didn't want to keep renting someone else's intelligence, so they built their own frontier. Working with the Heidi team, we fine-tuned an open model that beat Gemini Pro tier quality in their internal side-by-side evals, running 3.5x faster (25s → 7s) at a fraction of the cost. The path from POC to production took 4 weeks. The real lesson from their write-up: the algorithm isn't the moat. Aggressive data filtering and large effective batch sizes (1M+ tokens via gradient accumulation) were what moved the win rate. Full case study here → https://lnkd.in/gqWYQR79

Across the world, healthcare systems are buckling. Clinicians are buried under hours of documentation, and the human connection at the core of medicine is slowly fading away. This is a global problem. And solving it is essential. But have you ever considered what that actually takes? It means deploying frontier AI in a fiercely complex, high-trust domain. It has to be fast enough to handle real-time clinical visits across dozens of languages. Secure enough to handle people’s most sensitive medical data with absolute trust. Versatile enough to handle 200 clinical specialties, anywhere from Canada to Cape Town. That’s what we’re building and it is work worth shipping. And if we’re honest, it’s not easy. Standard tech playbooks routinely fail in healthcare, and the friction of the medical system will test your perseverance. But we didn’t choose easy. We chose a purpose-driven mission that actually matters. If this resonates, you’re someone who recognises that the deeper question is not whether AI can solve the global healthcare crisis, but whose hands will shape it. If you’re ready to solve one of the most complex problems on earth and do the defining work of your career, come join us. Don't choose easy. Choose the challenge. Choose Heidi.
