What if the biggest impact of AI isn't where everyone is looking? Our CEO, Doug Vincent, explores 𝗮 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗜 𝗶𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, one that challenges how we think about productivity across projects. Read more below. 👇 #AIinConstruction #ConstructionTechnology #ConstructionProductivity #ProjectDelivery #FutureOfConstruction

Nearly half of all work that goes into a construction project is non-physical Could be more if you consider this from initiation stage? This physical / non physical is an interesting way to see the impact of AI in construction. McKinsey estimates that 39% of construction work could be automated with AI agents. That includes work such as: 📄 Reviewing contracts, RFIs and project documents 📊 Preparing reports, forecasts and variance commentary 💰 Validating invoices, claims and cost data 📅 Updating schedules and identifying emerging risks 🔄 Routing decisions, approvals and follow-up actions Of course humans remain responsible for the work that requires judgment, accountability, relationships and physical execution. Using an estimated global construction workforce of roughly 281 million people: 281 million × 39% = about 110 million full-time-equivalent jobs of capacity. So, at full theoretical adoption AI agents could unlock productive capacity equivalent to approximately 110 million construction workers globally. That does not mean 110 million jobs disappear. It means the industry could theoretically produce the same output with 110 million fewer worker-equivalents, or—more realistically—redirect that capacity toward more projects

  • A few medialunas made their way into the Mastt pantry this week. 🥐 That sparked one simple question: "𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗰𝗿𝗼𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀?" Close, but not quite. Medialunas are an Argentinian favorite. They're softer, sweeter, and traditionally finished with a light glaze, while croissants are known for their buttery, flaky layers. 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆. 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝗻 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁. 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗴𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝘂𝘀 𝘂𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲. The highest-impact project decisions are made when the least amount of information is available. In healthcare construction, that's why specialist project managers create the greatest value during feasibility. This is where teams have the most influence over: ✅ Risk exposure ✅ Design direction ✅ Procurement strategy ✅ Long-term project outcomes Every unresolved risk has a cost. During feasibility, it's addressed through planning and design. During construction, it's often addressed through time, cost, and change. Are your biggest project risks being addressed at the point where you have the most influence?
