Skills 'intelligence' today is mostly just guessing. 💄 🐷 Our latest edition explains why and what the alternative looks like. TLDR; measuring skills is both more accurate and more ethical than pointing an AI model at a truckload of historical data, then dressing it up as 'intelligence'. CHROs are being sold the dream to solve their mobility woes with these 'frictionless' platforms - but to truly build skills intelligence requires better data and a new engagement approach that involves your people, rather than cutting them out altogether. #skillsintelligence #talentmobility

Tristram Gray, CPO of Kmart Australia Limited, shared how ditching CVs for Sapia.ai has saved the retailer $5m-$6m over the last 3 years, in an exclusive with Jared Lynch from The Australian this week. The retail giant simply couldn't manually review the 600,000 applications it receives annually - and they knew CVs needed to go. With our platform, Kmart and Target Australia give every single candidate an interview and feedback - uplifting their candidate experience and delivering incredible outcomes for the beloved Australian brands: - Time to hire is 75% faster - New hires recommended by our AI stay 2.5x longer, saving the retailer in churn costs and reducing disruption to their stores. - Candidates rate the interview experience 9/10 - Diversity has increased, with First Nations people accounting for 8.25% of new hires - compared with a workforce parity benchmark of 3%. We're proud to partner with the fantastic Aussie brand 🇦🇺 Full article >> https://lnkd.in/e59G3mwX And if you're not a subscriber to The Australian, Sky News Australia have picked up the incredible story here >> https://lnkd.in/eDiYqr79 #retailhiring #recruitment #talentacquisition

What a week! Our second award finalist announcement in two days 😮💨 Proud to be supporting BT Group in their nomination for the Best Use of AI in the IHR - In-house Recruitment awards this year 🍾 What we love about this nomination is that BT won this award with us last year. But the story just kept getting better - with more data and more incredible outcomes as Matthew Howe and the team scaled their use of Sapia.ai across the business. Our partnerships are not one-stop. We see benefits build and grow over time - and in BT's case, a validity study over 15 months proved that using our AI interviews not only uplifted candidate experience and recruitment efficiency - it delivered retail hires who reached competency faster, maintained higher performance over time and stayed longer. That's the value of a long-term partnership. Congratulations to everyone involved 🤝 😊 Matt Fahey Shannon John Buddhi Jayatilleke Mark Brooker Katie Moore Sanjeet Bains Faye Sephton Barb Hyman Itamar Lustiger, MS

Sapia.ai now interviews candidates in Arabic. 🎉 Your hiring team creates, configures and manages everything in English. Candidates get the full structured interview in Arabic, from the questions to the personalised feedback at the end. One process. One set of competencies. Every candidate assessed the same way, in the language they think in. This is our first right-to-left language. (Yes, the entire chat experience flips. Yes, our engineers have earned a holiday.) #globalhiring #hirebrilliant #candidateexperience

We'll keep saying it until everyone hears us - building trust in AI requires full transparency. In how it's built, the data it uses, the recommendations it provides. Transparency for candidates, for users and for leaders. It's a non-negotiable. Barb Hyman in the spotlight with Onrec this week on how to build transparency when AI powers your hiring: https://lnkd.in/eNXETdAq

Because it's so much more than just scheduling .... A new team member asked me why we called the experience that is the human-to-human interview 'Live Interview' and not just 'scheduling' To me, calling this moment "scheduling" completely minimises what is actually happening. Scheduling is cold. It's an administrative chore. It’s about booking a meeting room, managing time zones, and passing a candidate along a conveyor belt like a piece of inventory. An interview isn’t a logistical box to check. It’s a moment. Think about it like dating. When you’ve been talking to someone on an app for a while, you don't look forward to "table reservation management." You look forward to the date. You look forward to the chemistry, the vibe check, the moment where you look across the table and realise, “Oh, this could be the one.” An interview carries that exact same weight. As a candidate, you are looking into the eyes of your potential future hiring manager. You’re asking yourself: Is this person going to protect my growth? Is this a role I actually want, or am I about to waste the next two years of my life? As a manager, your time is incredibly precious. You’re asking yourself: Is this the person who is going to help me solve our biggest problems? It is a high-stakes, deeply human emotional inflection point. And if our product only focuses on the digital paperwork of booking the slot, we’ve completely missed the magic. We didn't build a utility tool to sync calendars. We built a platform to facilitate human alignment. We built a way to make sure that when two people finally sit down together, it is fulfilling, rewarding, and deeply intentional. That’s why we didn't call it scheduling. We called it LiveInterview. Because the interview is where the magic actually happens. #aiforgood #disruptyourthinking
