Follow up the next morning. Do that once a month for a year. You'll have 24 genuine professional relationships that compound. That's worth more than 200 business cards and a LinkedIn inbox full of people you vaguely remember.

The moment I knew The Network Bar was working: Three months after our first event, I got a message from an attendee. She'd come alone. Didn't know anyone. Almost didn't come at all. At the event she got talking to a founder who was looking for exactly the skills she had. They exchanged numbers. Met for coffee the following week. Started working together the month after. She messaged to say thank you. I didn't introduce them. I didn't orchestrate anything. I just put 60 people in a room and let it happen. That's the whole business model. It's embarrassingly simple. And it works every single time.
