  • This month, we’ve reached two major milestones on our journey to decarbonise our manufacturing operations across EMEA. First, we completed our carbon footprint assessment for 2025, with our latest data showing that our EMEA manufacturing sites achieved an overall 71% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions* compared with 2019. Once again these results were fully audited and independently verified by LRQA. Our 2025 reporting also saw us transition to a new digital Carbon Footprint Calculator for the first time – significantly enhancing our carbon tracking and reporting processes and giving us the ability to conduct even more extensive analyses at an individual plant level. *Refers to emissions from our own operations.

  • The newly published Bridgestone Integrated Report reveals that we reached 40% ratio of recycled and renewable materials globally in 2025. That’s a significant step towards making tyres with fewer new raw materials and keeping resources in use for longer. We’ve made this possible by focusing our efforts on three key areas: making our tyres lighter, extending how long they last and increasing the amount of recycled and renewable materials we use over time. And we’re not stopping here. We’ll continue building on this progress as we work towards a more circular future for mobility. • Planning a summer road trip? Before you pack the car and hit the road, please take a few minutes to check your tyres. Long journeys, hot weather, heavy luggage and sudden summer rain can all put them under extra strain – so here are five simple tyre checks to help make your journey safer, smoother and more comfortable: 1. Check tyre pressure when your tyres are cold Tyre pressure should ideally be checked before your journey begins, when your tyres have not yet warmed up. If your car is heavier than usual – with extra passengers and luggage – check the manufacturer’s guidance, as higher pressure recommendations often apply. 2. Check tread depth Even in summer, tread depth matters – especially in sudden heavy rain. Sufficient tread helps tyres drain water more effectively, improving control on wet roads and reducing the risk of aquaplaning. It’s also a legal requirement in many countries, so it’s worth checking the rules before you travel. 3. Look for visible damage Small cracks, bulges or embedded objects can easily go unnoticed, but may affect tyre stability and safety. A quick visual check before a long journey can help spot issues early. 4. Avoid overloading your car A heavier vehicle increases the load on your tyres and can contribute to greater heat build-up, increased wear and longer braking distances. With that in mind, it’s always good to know your vehicle’s maximum permitted weight – and pack carefully! 5. Drive smoothly in hot weather High temperatures, high speeds, roof boxes and towing can all place extra strain on tyres. Smooth driving and regular breaks can help reduce that strain – making the journey safer and more comfortable for everyone on board. Life is a journey. Let’s make it a safe one.

  • This past weekend saw the 2026 Coca-Cola Suzuka 8 Hours – one of the toughest tests in motorcycle endurance racing, and the third round of the 2026 FIM Endurance World Championship. This year’s edition saw heavy rain hit the technically demanding Suzuka circuit – and Honda HRC eventually claiming victory for the fifth consecutive year, with the entire top 13 finishing on Bridgestone tyres. With Bridgestone supporting several Japanese teams exclusively for Suzuka – in addition to the seven permanent teams we’re backing in the 2026 championship – the race became another powerful showcase of performance, durability and consistency in some of the toughest conditions of the season. As the championship moves toward the final round, Bridgestone-supported teams remain firmly in the fight, carrying momentum from another standout performance on home soil.
