Today marks a major step forward for gigabit connectivity in Flanders. The Belgian Competition Authority has given the green light to the proposed cooperation between Proximus, Fiberklaar, Telenet group, and Wyre, enabling a smarter and more efficient rollout of gigabit networks across Flanders.  Thanks to the BCA’s decision, Fiberklaar and Wyre can now implement a unique cooperation that will bring fiber to over 2 million homes and businesses faster, while reducing disruption from construction works.    This is an important step in accelerating Flanders' digital transformation through  long-term investment in future-proof digital infrastructure.  Discover all the details in our press release: https://lnkd.in/ef7tJCkJ

In June, something great happened. Colleagues from across our Group got moving together for a shared goal. For four weeks, teams walked, cycled, ran, swam. 💪 Every step, every ride and every effort contributed to something bigger than ourselves. We supported two organisations that help parents facing the loss of a child: Berrefonds VZW and VZW Boven De Wolken / Au-delà Des Nuages ASBL. Sport has a unique way of bringing people together. It connects colleagues across teams, creates new conversations, and reminds us what we can achieve when we move as one. That’s what #TeamPossible is all about. 💜   #LifeAtProximus

Turning the potential of edge computing into tangible customer value starts with bringing the right people together. 🎯 At our Moonshot Ideation Hackathon, colleagues, partners and industry experts joined forces to transform promising ideas into concrete solutions for our customers. Following the ideation phase, two projects have been selected for MVP development: 👉 A shared situational awareness platform for Security, combining video feeds, drones, sensors, digital twins and AI-powered insights to help first responders gain a more complete operational picture and make faster, better-informed decisions. 👉 A federated Home Care & Prevention platform for Healthcare, connecting data from wearables, home sensors and medical records to support earlier interventions and help people live independently for longer. Both MVPs perfectly illustrate our Moonshot ambition around edge computing. By processing data closer to where it is generated, we can deliver lower latency, greater resilience and stronger data sovereignty for our customers. A big thank you to everyone who contributed their expertise, creativity and collaborative spirit. These MVPs mark the beginning of an exciting journey. We look forward to bringing them to life and helping our customers unlock the full potential of edge computing. 🚀

As Pairi Daiza opens Edenya, we're proud to help make every visit a connected experience.   From the earliest design phase, our teams, together with partner Circet Benelux, worked alongside Pairi Daiza to ensure reliable mobile connectivity in one of the most complex indoor environments. From tropical plants and aquariums to caves and an impressive glass dome, every element required a careful approach to make sure technology blended naturally into the experience.   The best technology is often the one visitors never notice. It simply works, allowing them to share memories, access information and stay connected while exploring this unique new world. Making that happen takes close collaboration, technical expertise and a shared ambition to turn complex challenges into seamless experiences.   Congratulations to Pairi Daiza on the opening of Edenya. We're proud to have contributed to bringing this unique destination to life.

When a life is on the line, every second counts. ⏱️ At Proximus, we're proud to have contributed, alongside az groeninge and VIVES Care, to the MUG of the future. By providing 5G network slicing, we enable secure, resilient and prioritised connectivity between the ambulance and the hospital. This allows emergency teams to securely exchange critical data in real time and collaborate seamlessly with hospital specialists, helping them make faster, better-informed decisions. Technology has its greatest impact when it helps people. This project shows how secure, resilient connectivity can help improve patient care and create positive outcomes for society. Another Rock Werchter is in the books, and we're proud to have helped keep one of Belgium's biggest festivals connected. 🎶📶   Long before the first artist took the stage, our teams have spent weeks preparing the network that keeps festivalgoers connected throughout the weekend, whether they're calling, texting, streaming their favourite performances or sharing every unforgettable moment. This year, we deployed 12 temporary mobile sites across Werchter:  • 9 covering the festival site • 3 serving the campsites The result? A network ready for peak demand. 📊 98.650 GB of mobile data carried. This represents the equivalent of streaming around 10 million songs! 📞 More than 7.466 hours of voice traffic. ⚡ 58% of mobile traffic was carried over our 5G network. We're also proud of the impact of our #UseReuseRecycle initiative during the festival, with 2056 mobile phones collected for reuse or responsible recycling. Twenty years of Les Ardentes Festival deserves a celebration to remember. 🎉 We've been proud partner of the festival almost from the very beginning, so marking this milestone together felt very special. To mark the festival's 20th anniversary, Les Ardentes and Proximus treated festival-goers to a spectacular drone show just before Lost Frequencies took to the stage. As night fell, more than 500 drones lit up the sky before coming together to form the iconic Proximus X , a magical way to kick off one of the weekend's most anticipated sets. ✨ Behind the scenes, our teams were also working long before and throughout the weekend to help keep everyone connected, so they could focus on the music, the atmosphere and the moments that matter. Over the weekend, our network carried 8 405 hours of voice traffic and 73 241 GB of mobile data 👉 an impressive 53% increase compared with 2025. Thanks to 10 temporary sites deployed, 59% of mobile traffic ran on our 5G network, ensuring a smooth experience for thousands of festival-goers. 📶 Congratulations to the entire Les Ardentes team on 20 fantastic years, and thank you to all our #TeamPossible colleagues who helped make this celebration possible. 💜 #LesArdentes #TeamPossible #Connectivity

Bringing together more than 120 works from 30 years of the Proximus Art Collection, the exhibition is designed to inspire dialogue, reflection and new perspectives.   More than 6000 visitors already found their way to Tour & Taxis, including many of our own colleagues and our CEO, Stijn Bijnens.
