Consumer information is increasingly expected to be accessible, multilingual and adaptable across Europe’s connected markets. 📱 In a diverse and multilingual environment such as the EU Single Market, providing information is not only about availability, but also about ensuring consumers can access and navigate information consistently across countries, languages and consumption moments. Digital labelling can support this by making product information more flexible, scalable and accessible across different markets and regulatory environments. Today, our digital labelling is: ✔️ Available in 100+ markets, including all 27 EU countries ✔️ Accessible through QR codes in 22+ EU languages ✔️ Supporting European priorities around transparency, consumer empowerment and responsible drinking As consumer expectations and digital tools continue to evolve, accessible information will remain increasingly important across Europe’s markets and languages. Most people think cocktails are stronger than wine or beer. Let’s compare: 🍸 A gin and tonic made with 30ml of gin at 40% ABV + 150ml of tonic water = 12ml of pure alcohol 🍷 100ml of wine at 12% ABV = 12ml of pure alcohol ABV stands for Alcohol by Volume - a measure of how much pure alcohol a drink contains. Combined with volume, it determines the total alcohol content. Although these drinks look different, they contain the same amount of alcohol. Alcohol strength is about units, not format. Yet too often, perception rather than science shapes how different drinks are viewed and regulated. Discover more about why #AllDrinksAreEqual in the first comment 👇 Christel Schaldemose

We’re delighted to be awarded a Gold Cycle-Friendly Employer (CFE) accreditation by European Cyclists' Federation, recognising our commitment to cycling and active travel at St James’s Gate. Over the past year, participation in cycling initiatives on-site has doubled, with 10% of our on-site workforce now commuting by bike. Through investments in infrastructure and innovative programmes like our e-bike library with University College Dublin and the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI), colleagues have already travelled 17,000+ km and saved over 2 tonnes of carbon emissions. We look forward to building on this momentum and continuing to make sustainable commuting even more accessible for collagues. A big thank you to our employees for embracing more sustainable ways to travel and helping to build a greener Dublin. 🌍💚 #Sustainability #ActiveTravel #Cycling #DiageoIreland #Decarbonisation Shane Kelly Geraldine Joanes JILL MCCANN Cindy Martin Michael O'Boyle Cycle Friendly Employer European Cyclists' Federation

Understanding progress helps us go further. 📈 Advancing inclusion in the workplace requires sustained progress over time. Tracking outcomes helps organisations understand where they stand and where further action is needed. As part of this approach, we regularly report on gender representation and pay across our business. In Great Britain and Scotland: 📊 The median gender pay gap stands at -2.2%, compared with the UK Office for National Statistics figure of +12.8%. ⚖️ In Great Britain, the mean gender pay gap has closed to 0.0% for the first time since reporting began. Insights from our local results help us scale these solutions globally across the company, where women make up 70% of our Board and 46% of our Executive Committee. Monitoring progress over time helps identify where further action is needed to build more inclusive workplaces. #SpiritofProgress #EUDiversityMonth #GenderPayGap

⚡Long-term competitiveness increasingly depends on the ability to invest in future-ready operations. The connection between industrial competitiveness, operational resilience, and long-term investment is becoming increasingly important across Europe. Future competitiveness depends not only on innovation, but also on the ability to invest in infrastructure, energy efficiency, and resilient operations that support long-term growth. Recent investment in Ireland reflects this broader direction, including a nearly €1 billion investment programme between 2020 and 2029, alongside the development of a new brewery in County Kildare powered by 100% renewable electricity. 🌱 The facility is expected to help avoid approximately 15,000 tonnes of carbon emissions annually while also contributing to regional development and skilled employment. Future-ready operations are increasingly becoming part of Europe’s competitiveness conversation. #SpiritofProgress #EUSEW #EuropeanSustainableEnergyWeek
