For the past nine years, our plant teams have hosted the event and helped organize the meal—a big thank you to them for keeping this tradition alive 🙏   The meal was prepared by HM Cook, our company restaurant. 🤝 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗮 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲    From June 9 to 18, colleagues in France came together to organize a food donation drive in support of Les Restos du Cœur 🩷, a French charity that provides food assistance and support to people facing difficult circumstances   Following an annual charity event held in March, several team members wanted to extend this commitment through a new initiative—this time directly within the company.    As Catherine CHAUMULON explains: "We wanted everyone at Porte-lès-Valence and Maninet to be able to participate if they wished, so it had to be as simple and accessible as possible."    With support from the CSR and Communications teams, collection points were set up and made accessible to colleagues across the administration offices, laboratories, and production facilities. The initiative was widely shared across the sites, ensuring that everyone had the opportunity to contribute.    At the end of the 10-day collection, on June 19, Les Restos du Cœur collected seven boxes of donations, representing 60 kg (130 lbs) of food and essential products. Donations included canned goods, rice, pasta, dried beans, jam, fruit compote, sugar, flour, coffee, chocolate, baby diapers, and hygiene products for all ages.    This initiative builds on previous solidarity actions, including the toy collection organized last Christmas for the same association. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗿? 🌶️ That question came up again and again as hundreds of children stopped by our booth at the 14th annual Farm Connection Day in Yolo County, California. On May 1st, more than 1,700 students — from kindergarten through 4th grade — spent the day discovering agriculture through hands-on activities and demonstrations. Around them, volunteers, teachers, FFA students, and local organizations worked together to turn learning into something tangible. For the second year in a row, HM.CLAUSE was a sponsor of the event. Twenty-one volunteers from across our teams — Breeding, R&D, HR, Production, T&T, Finance — came together with a shared goal: helping young students connect with agriculture in a simple, memorable way.  At our booth, children planted seedlings, learned how crops grow, and discovered the life cycle of vegetables.  We donated more than 3,000 tomato and pepper plants… and answered that logical question several times: "Can I make salsa with tomatoes and peppers?". Each student chose a tomato plant, a pepper plant, or both, and left with something to care for at home. Beyond the activities themselves, Farm Connection Day gives children the opportunity to discover where food comes from, meet people working in agriculture, and experience farming through direct interaction. Some children — and even a few teachers — recognized us from last year. Those moments remind us why showing up matters! 𝗩𝗶𝗲𝘁𝗻𝗮𝗺 𝘀𝘂𝗯𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 🎂    10 years! It’s a significant milestone for our Vietnam subsidiary 🎉     This deserved a two-day celebration. Telling you about it lets you enjoy it a little, too!       The opening session took place on April 16 at our Cu Chi headquarters. It was broadcast so that everyone in the country could enjoy it. Our general manager for Southeast Asia, Cristiano Guerresi, & the deputy general manager of Vietnam, Anh Tuan Nguyen were the key speakers.        🌟 Because our teams in Vietnam share a common story, we invited them to take part in a memory challenge about this 10-year journey. They had to place the highlights of each year on a giant timeline to (re)discover what matters most. Around 60 people in Cu Chi took part in this activity.       ♻️ The next day, early in the morning, around 40 people participated in an environmental walk. This is a tradition for our teams in Vietnam, included in every company event. People walked through our premises to pick up trash.    Then, our staff tackled challenges: they split into four teams, and within each team, they had to work together to succeed.     To end the celebration, people attended a gala dinner and closing ceremony: there was a performance competition, prepared by internal talents. Maciej Bigda, VP of Asia, was present to help bring the event to life.
