
Handagiriye Sirisumana
I, Rev. Handagiriye Sirisumana Thero, am a Senior Lecturer in Education Science at the Department of Social Sciences and Comparative Studies, Faculty of Languages and Cultural Studies, Bhiksu University of Sri Lanka, Anuradhapura. My academic expertise lies in educational psychology, with a strong focus on research in this field.
I hold a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Education (2022) and a Master of Education (MEd) (2018) from the University of Peradeniya, along with a Master of Arts in Buddhist Studies (MA) (2015) from the University of Kelaniya and a Bachelor of Education (BEd) (2011) from the University of Colombo. Currently, I am pursuing my PhD at the University of the West in the USA, further advancing my research in educational psychology.
As an academic and researcher, I am dedicated to exploring contemporary educational theories, psychological aspects of learning, and effective teaching methodologies, contributing to the development of modern educational practices.

country and the desires of its citizens. The dynamic aims and purposes lead to an effective curriculum. This research, which discusses the benefits of curriculum development in Sri Lanka, was done referring to the literary works in libraries based on documentary survey techniques.
