Tyler Dahlseide, Calfrac Chief Executive Officer, notes, “as the largest Coiled Tubing operator in the Argentinean Vaca Muerta, we’ve seen what focused investment and innovation can achieve – now we’re renewing that same commitment in Canada with extended-reach capabilities and technologies that open new opportunities in complex applications, including multi-lateral re-entry work.” By investing in our people, technologies, and capabilities, we’re positioning our Coiled Tubing service line to meet the evolving needs of our customers while delivering the same Calfrac service quality.

Calfrac is proud of our robust safety programs, including our Hazard ID Program, which hit an amazing milestone this June. In 2023, we rebuilt our Hazard ID program, graduating from written notes to the development of a SharePoint system allowing for analysis and trend recognition for hazards reported in the field and District locations in real time. From the programs launch in 2023 to 2025, we’ve seen participation in the program double, meaning our employees are identifying, correcting, and recording two times the hazards since the program launched. Participation in our safety programs helps to identify and correct hazards before they cause an incident, and the collection of data allows Calfrac to find trends to focus on mitigating hazards that are recurring or have high potential. A big thank you to the Calfrac team for their continued support and commitment to the Calfrac safety standard. Your participation in our programs does not go unnoticed. Calfrac is proud to announce our Gillette, Wyoming crew has broken a new 24 Hour Record! In the Powder River Basin, our crew pumped 12,354,101 lbs of sand with 247 sand trucks delivered. Additionally, 19 stages were completed, and an average rate of 106.5 BPM was achieved. All while maintaining zero HSE events! We are sending a big thank you and congratulations to our Gillette, Wyoming crew for this incredible accomplishment!

A few weeks ago, our Grande Prairie, Alberta training facility welcomed 10 students from Horse Lake First Nation for a tour! The tour included an overview of who Calfrac is and the services we provide, our MELT Driver Training Program, and our Pressure Pumping School. Calfrac is proud to connect with the Indigenous communities near our operations to create opportunities through impactful training, skills development, mentorship, and employment pathways.

Time to take a stroll down memory lane! Swipe through the years of Calfrac’s Coiled Tubing and Fracturing experience, from 1999 to today. We’re incredibly proud of the journey through the years with roots in Alberta, providing our customers with the Calfrac promise of reliability, safety, and service excellence. Our work would not be possible without the collaboration across all levels of our organization including sales, engineering, lab, district staff, logistics, and field operations.

Stampede is in full swing here in Calgary, Alberta! Doug Ramsay often talks about the handshake that started Calfrac right in the heart of downtown Calgary. With a storied history here in Alberta, we love to take the time during Stampede season to connect with our people and our community. We are wishing everyone a fun and safe Stampede week!
