One of the things I am quickly appreciating at CGIS is how much good valve selection depends on truly understanding the application. CGIS helps customers select, supply, automate, and service valves for tough industrial applications especially where reliability, safety, leakage, wear, corrosion, erosion, control, or downtime really matter. A valve can look simple from the outside, but the wrong valve in the wrong service can become a maintenance and operational problem very quickly. The right solution is rarely about type, pressure class, or price. It comes down to understanding the full service conditions and how the valve is expected to perform over time. That’s where the details matter: Media | Pressure | Temperature | Flow conditions | Cycling frequency | Isolation or control | Shutoff requirements | Material compatibility | Automation needs | Maintenance history | What failed before? Those questions matter whether the application is in oil and gas, mining, pulp and paper, chemical, power, water treatment, or another demanding industrial process. My goal in this role is to ask the right questions, understand the service, and help customers find practical valve and automation solutions that make sense for the application, not just on paper, but in the field.
