🇺🇸Amazing morning with the National Conference of Bar Presidents in #Chicago during the American Bar Association’s annual meeting. It was a privilege to share some thoughts about bar associations’ role in preparing the profession (and especially young lawyers) for essential human lawyering roles of 2030. Thank you to NCBP President Patrick Palace and incoming President Juan Thomas for inviting me to give the keynote address. There were so many friends and Clio bar association partners in that packed room. I’m coming away energized and inspired by these leaders. 🚀

A case-ready timeline that normally takes a litigation associate 9 to 25 hours to build now takes Clio Work a single prompt. 👀 Give Clio Work your depositions, incident reports, and medical records, and it builds a source-linked timeline around the issues that decide the case, like notice and breach of duty. See Clio Work completing this task from start to finish.👇

Clio for Word brings your matter details, client history, and legal expertise directly into Microsoft Word, helping you draft smarter from the very first sentence. Never start from a blank page again. Clio for Word brings AI drafting right where you already work. See how at the link in the comments.

Lawyers need a reliable quality control process for verifying AI outputs before they're used, not after. Skip it, and you risk submitting fake citations to a client or court, or spending hours on a matter before catching an omission and having to redo the work. Nobody wants that (or has time for that.) Need a repeatable process for verifying AI outputs? Swipe for what to watch for along with a checklist to standardize and accelerate verification. Head to our blog in the comments to download the full legal quality control checklist. #LegalAI #AIOutputs #AIForLaw #Verify

Vincent by Clio just got a lot more powerful. Here are five recent updates changing the way top law firms work: 1. Skills give your team pre-built, reusable capabilities for the work that comes up every day. 2. Agentic mode plans and reasons across multi-step tasks, spanning research, document analysis, and drafting, with every source surfaced inline. 3. Legal Pad turns research and analysis straight into a first draft, without switching tools. 4. Vincent now lives inside Microsoft Word, suggesting edits as track changes without leaving the document. 5. Vincent is now on mobile too, still grounded in the Clio Library. Watch the video to see the newest features in action.

This year, we challenged students at Hack the Law from the Cambridge Judge Business School to build a tool that answers "is this authority still good law, and why?" #TeamClio joined in on two days of legal LLM building from some of the sharpest student minds, with global firms in the room watching closely, all hosted by Zarja Hude. Congratulations to the winners of our challenge, Laksshini Sundaramoorthy & Nikita Strukov. 👏 And a thanks to Kuan Hsieh, Milli Beard, Laura Hodgson, Nick Mann, and Luke Jones for representing Clio all weekend! It was evident that the future of #legaltech is bright. Until next year!
