𝗦𝗕𝗢𝗠 𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴. 𝗦𝗕𝗢𝗠 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁. ENISA’s new SBOM Adoption State of Play 2026 report makes one thing clear: the EU Cyber Resilience Act is accelerating action, but most organizations are still far from operational SBOM maturity. 𝗔 𝗳𝗲𝘄 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝘁:  • 79% expect to reach CRA-required SBOM maturity by full applicability  • 43% say the CRA has significantly accelerated SBOM investment  • Only 9% have reached a mature, fully automated SBOM program  • 62% say SBOM completeness is quite or extremely hard  • For purchased software, 39% of buyers say vendors never receive an SBOM, and another 39% say rarely  • 44% report a moderate gap between generating SBOMs and actually using them, while 23% report a significant gap 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗲𝘅𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗖𝘆𝗯𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘀 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽𝘀.
