We often ask how to respond to violence. But what about preventing it? It has been just over a month since We Need More Men was released. In this short film, we explore the evolution of the Engaging Men Program at Women’s Crisis Services of Waterloo Region and how male accountability can create safer families today while helping prevent violence tomorrow. The documentary dives into the men behind the work, the inspiration for the program and why creating space for men to ask for help can be an important part of breaking cycles of violence.
