400 sets of bunker gear. One mission. Protecting the people who protect their communities. At GlobalMedic and our sister agency, GlobalFire, we believe in getting the Right Aid to the Right People at the Right Time. Thanks to dedicated volunteers like firefighter Bob from the London, Ontario region, approximately 400 sets of donated bunker gear are getting a second life. After collecting the gear from local fire departments and delivering it to our warehouse, our volunteers carefully inspect, sort, and prepare every set before it's shipped to volunteer firefighters in countries like Paraguay and Bolivia. In many communities around the world, firefighters respond to emergencies with little or no protective equipment. By redistributing this essential gear, we're helping improve firefighter safety, strengthen emergency response, and protect the communities they serve. ❤️ Support our work and help equip firefighters where the need is greatest. This is a zero turn on the Argo Sasquatch — turning completely in place to head back the way we came. Instead of wide, sweeping turns, each wheel rotates independently, allowing the vehicle to pivot exactly where it stands. What makes this even more effective is the hybrid system. During a zero turn, the Argo Sasquatch uses battery power instead of fuel, delivering precise control without wasting energy. For GlobalMedic, this kind of maneuverability matters in real emergencies — tight spaces, unstable ground, and blocked access points where every movement needs to be deliberate and controlled. Precision like this helps responders get in, get out, and get aid exactly where it’s needed.

Support from Muslim Welfare Canada is helping strengthen frontline wildfire response across Northwestern Ontario. Through their generous contribution, GlobalMedic will hand over seven additional fire skid units and two large fire skid trailer units to help better equip fire departments responding to wildfires across the region. The fire skids will be an additional asset, allowing more crews to deploy quickly and get closer to active fires. The larger trailer units carry approximately three times more water and can also resupply fire skids in the field, helping firefighters maintain their response for longer. A huge thank you to Muslim Welfare Canada for helping GlobalMedic get more firefighting equipment into the hands of frontline crews working to protect communities across Northwestern Ontario.

Preparing emergency aid takes a collective effort, and GlobalMedic is grateful for the volunteers who make that work possible. Recently, employees from Procter & Gamble Canada volunteered at GlobalMedic's warehouse to assemble Family Emergency Kits that will be sent to families affected by the twin earthquakes in Venezuela. Each kit contains a point-of-use water purification unit, hygiene items and a solar light, providing families with access to clean drinking water and other essential items during the early stages of recovery. Procter & Gamble has been a long-standing supporter of GlobalMedic through financial contributions, product donations, and employee volunteerism. By giving their time to assemble these kits, P&G employees helped reduce operational costs, allowing more humanitarian aid to reach families in need. GlobalMedic is grateful for partners like Procter & Gamble, whose continued support helps deliver The Right Aid to The Right People at The Right Time.

As a team headquartered in Toronto, Canada, we feel a deep responsibility to support the communities and ecosystems currently facing devastating losses. While the smoke has cleared for many of us, the fires in Canada are still burning. Families are still being displaced, livelihoods are still being lost, and entire ecosystems remain under threat. Since 2021, we have donated $1.3million CAD to our partners at GlobalMedic (David McAntony Gibson Foundation) in support of their vital wildfire relief efforts. Today, we are building on that long-standing partnership by committing an incremental $40,000 CAD. We also partner with veritree who rebuild and recover ecosystems that have been harmed by planting verified trees, native to their surroundings. We’ve committed $345,000 CAD in funding to help restore these areas around the world. And lastly, where relevant and useful, we’re donating skincare products too. To our fellow Canadian brand friends: if you’re in a position to help, we’re asking you to join us in donating whatever you can, be it funds, supplies, or the essentials your business creates. Every contribution can make a meaningful difference. Together, we can help our communities rebuild. ♥️

35,000+ pounds of food. 24 skids. One shared commitment to supporting communities. ❤️ GlobalMedic volunteers prepared a shipment of McAntony’s Menu food items bound for the Ottawa Food Bank helping ensure families across the capital region have access to essential pantry staples they know and use every day. Thanks to the generous support of Human Concern International (HCI), this shipment will help strengthen food access through the Ottawa Food Bank’s network of community food programs. Thank you HCI for helping us to get the Right Aid to the Right People at the Right Time.

“We now have a piece of equipment we can take into the bush and actually fight fires from the inside”. GlobalMedic Rapid Response Team volunteer Kathleen Doherty is on the ground in Thunder Bay, Ontario distributing fire skids to different volunteer fire departments. These self-contained units turn pickup trucks into mobile firefighting equipment, giving smaller departments the ability to reach remote areas, respond to spot fires, and better protect their communities. Since 2023, GlobalMedic has distributed 630+ fire skids across Canada and around the world. Today, Kathleen is seeing firsthand the difference these donations make for firefighters who are working tirelessly to keep their communities safe. 🔥 Watch Kathleen’s interview from the field and learn more about our wildfire response.
