Thank you to Eric Stating, Consul General of the Netherlands, for taking the time to visit our hatchery in South Dakota. It was a great visit with excellent discussion!
Great visit to the south-east of the great State of South Dakota. This included a meeting with Lieutenant Governor Tony Venhuizen, South Dakota Trade interim-CEO Joe Fiala and Mayor Paul TenHaken of the state’s largest City of Sioux Falls. During my trip, I stopped by 🇳🇱 Hendrix Genetics in Beresford, one of the largest turkey 🦃 hatcheries in the USA, an impressive facility also known for its robust biosecurity policies. Hendrix is headquartered in Boxmeer, Netherlands. Many trailers used for the distribution of their poults across the US are sourced from 🇳🇱 Heering in Vaassen, Netherlands.
