Generate leads ✅ Content is your top of funnel → Profile views after you’ve posted  → New connections from your ideal clients  → Inbound DMs from people who like your post → Outbound to warm leads already engaging with you 2. Gauge urgency ✅ How long have they been sitting with this problem? → Long-standing pain = high priority = ready to invest → Recent pain = still exploring = not ready yet → Urgency tells you everything about timing 8. Give them a clear next step ✅ If they tick every box move decisively. → Send your offer details or suggest a call → Never leave a conversation without a defined action → If they say no, find out why → Every lost deal is a learning Content gets you seen. A client asked me last week: "Do you use AI to write my posts?" Fair question, because most ghostwritten posts are getting called out for sounding like AI wrote them. Here's my reply: I don't just use AI, I use it to write fast, not to think. In the past 6 weeks, I've gained nearly 1,000 followers on LinkedIn. And I've maybe spent 3 hours per week on this platform. Truthfully? I've been inconsistent in all of the things I know work. And I still almost doubled my follower count. For 2 years, I've been working behind the scenes of creators. I always saw myself as the behind-the-scenes person. This year I committed to becoming visible. I started posting on TikTok, then Instagram, then LinkedIn. And this platform has by far been the easiest to grow on. No getting ready for video. No filming. No hour-long editing sessions. Just 15 minute drafts. And it's kinda actually fun?!? my favorite events are the ones where nobody is networking. no pitching. no scanning the room for someone more important. no "so what do you do" before they've even learned your name. just people talking like friends. my friend Ryan threw an event two days ago and it was genuinely one of the most fun events i've ever been to. the wildest part? he pulled it together in 24 hours. in collaboration with Stanley. 24 hours. did i say 24 hours? crazy work. i run events for a living and i can tell you that most people spend six weeks planning something that ends up feeling like a networking obligation with a coat check. maybe even 2 weeks if they're really rushing it. ryan pulled something together in a day that people are still talking about. because he didn't optimize for the flyer. he optimized for the vibe. that's the thing nobody gets. the venue doesn't make the room. the guest list on paper doesn't make the room. the panel definitely doesn't make the room. the room is made by whether people actually want to be there. and you can feel that within 30 seconds of walking in. the best events don't feel like events. they feel like a really good hang that happens to be full of interesting people. that's the whole bar. what's the last event you went to where you actually forgot you were networking?
