Weekends don’t slow down project cargo. While most were enjoying the weekend, our team was on the waterfront supporting the discharge of two oversized pieces from the CMA CGM Paranaguá. Due to their dimensions, these units cannot be transported over the road network, making a direct vessel-to-barge operation the most efficient and practical solution. Many thanks to Société Terminaux Montréal Gateway for allowing this operation. Working alongside our French client, we coordinated and supervised the direct discharge onto a barge, ensuring a seamless transfer from ocean vessel to inland transport. The cargo is now underway and expected to arrive in Sorel-Tracy tomorrow morning, where these two pieces will be unloaded to trucks. Quiet but busy, first two barges are done and about to turn around for another trip. Amazing collaboration from all partners involved. We’ve just taken delivery of our first Konecranes Lift Trucks 4532 reach stacker at Nors Group in Boucherville, a major step forward for Summit Logistics and warehousing division. This isn’t just another piece of equipment. It fundamentally expands our ability to handle and reposition heavy, high-value components in marshalling yards, especially across medium- and long-term project environments where flexibility and control are critical. In our world, yard efficiency isn’t a “nice to have” it directly impacts schedule reliability, risk exposure, and ultimately project outcomes. This addition gives us greater independence, faster turnaround, and tighter execution across complex scopes. Equally important is who we partner with. We couldn’t think of a better place than Nors to support this investment. Their team and especially @glenn hughes has been behind Summit Logistics since day one, very responsive. They’ve truly helped opening the lights in our beginnings. Looking forward to putting this machine to work.

We’re proud to share the successful completion of a major heavy-lift logistics operation. Over the past two weeks, the Summit Logistics team coordinated and delivered the transport of a Liebherr Group LR12500 crawler crane, the largest crawler crane of its kind ever mobilized in Eastern Canada. This operation involved: • 241 individual components • 120+ truckloads • Components weighing up to 80 metric tonnes • Complete delivery to site in under two weeks Executing a move of this scale requires detailed planning, precise coordination, and disciplined execution across every interface, from port handling and staging to specialized transport and final delivery. We are proud that every component arrived safely and on schedule, reflecting the professionalism of everyone involved. Your team ensured our drivers were loaded efficiently, safely, and without a single scratch or delay, exactly the kind of partnership that keeps complex projects moving.
