Representative Davis represents the City of Lancaster — the home of our Texas operations — making this a particularly special visit. We're proud to be part of this community and grateful for the opportunity to bring the future of autonomous transportation to her district, and beyond.

You need to meet your customers where they are at. Raquel Urtasun shared at ACT Expo / ACT News what three years of commercial operations with Uber Freight and Fortune 5 companies have taught Waabi about what customers really want. That includes a door-to-door business model that gets freight exactly where it needs to go, without extra steps or added cost.

Self-driving won’t scale if every new route, scenario, or vehicle platform requires massive engineering resources. It’s why generalization is one of the biggest unlocks for autonomous vehicles, and Physical AI more broadly. Last year, we demonstrated that the Waabi Driver can generalize across different ODDs from highways to complex surface streets. Now, we are proving it has crossed the next frontier: generalizing across embodiments and enabling the same AI driver to seamlessly transfer to an entirely new vehicle platform with different sensors, control system, and physical characteristics. We collaborated with our partners at Volvo Group and Volvo Autonomous Solutions to accomplish this feat, integrating the Waabi Driver into the Volvo VNL Autonomous. The result: the Volvo VNL Autonomous, powered by the Waabi Driver, was fully performant from the very first mile, driving autonomously across both highways and complex surface streets, without requiring new real-world data, simulation, or retraining. This milestone is an incredible breakthrough for self-driving. A single brain, the Waabi Driver, effectively transfers capabilities from one vehicle form factor to another, in the same way we as humans do. It is industry-first in self-driving and sets the foundation toward scalable autonomous freight and the future of Physical AI.
