What Salesforce / servicenow were offering was the LcNc (Low Code No Code) platforms.  With GenAI becoming powerful day by day, it has become existential threat for their developed ecosystem. I stopped working in SFDC ecosystem 6-7 years back when SFDC was moving away from Apex to LcNc. Life is full of circles. I connected my instance to visual studio code and BOOM.... With GHCP using sonnet models, I could deliver GenAI solutions for SFDC which can be plugged into flows or agentforce or vice-versa. This is a clear existential crises for SFDC also. You don't need to think of building complex nocode workflows when you have apex at your disposal. More control to you as a developer. Though, I am not SFDC developer and may opinions may be incorrect. Comments from SFDC folks are welcome.

I asked Codex to generate Apex code for a before insert trigger along with a corresponding test class to validate Account creation for salesforce application. Within seconds, the code was written and deployed. What stood out wasn’t just the speed — it was the shift in how we work. Using natural language instructions, development tasks that traditionally required significant manual effort can now be accelerated dramatically. The real differentiator is no longer writing boilerplate code — it’s having strong domain knowledge and clearly defining the business logic. AI can generate the code. But expertise defines what the code should do. Enterprise software which are build on architecture principles can be tested in times quickly pivot and support changing technology. Talking about #MuleSoft who has been leaders for connecting API's to now Agents. Mulesoft in course to be of able to adapt and reuse the existing architecture (Runtime Fabric, API Gateway etc..) built for managing API's to now Agents in a scalable and in secure way.. I would call Mule as true "Enterprise Agent Bus" aka "Enterprise Service Bus" Given the proliferation of Agent. You really need a platform to be able to discover, orchestrate, govern & monitor across your enterprise. #Mulesoft can be that layer agnostic's of protocol's whether its A2A or MCP or many more to come same time live side by side to tradicional API ecossytem. Optimizing Dot walking by .addExtraField() This was a TIL moment for me when I found about this beauty in ServiceNow. SN is a Java application which doesn't allow us access to DB layer. And because of this when we try and read referenced fields ( dot walking ), SN essentially has to do multiple DB queries. Now imagine that you need to access https://lnkd.in/grdh_674 field, servicenow will make at least 2x queries, i.e. 2 queries for each row that you read. But when you use .addExtraField(), the field that you are looking for is retrieved within the first query. ( This is my understanding, happy to be corrected by more experienced people out there. What other tricks are you guys using to optimize the DB queries ? I've made a small video to show how .addExtraField() works.
