Butterflies symbolize growth, hope, and transformation – a fitting inspiration for the design of the Helmsley Cancer Center. 🦋 ✨ Designed to resemble a butterfly, the six-storey treatment and research facility is centered around a three-storey atrium, creating spaces that support the emotional well-being of patients and families while promoting healing and wellness. ASPECT collaborated early in the design process, providing Mass Timber Advisory Services for the mass timber roof and atrium to help create a warm, welcoming environment that supports the center’s mission for healing.
