Aurigin leads the field in audio deepfake detection. Confirmed independently against the world’s best.
🏆 Proud moment: An independent audio deepfake detection benchmark confirmed that aurigin.ai's model is amongst the best ones in the world. Until today, the deepfake detection space had a transparency problem. Every vendor claims ~99% accuracy. None of those numbers were comparable. Podonos published an independent deepfake audio detection benchmark, comparing all big names in the market (RealityDefender, ResembleAI, Hive, etc.). I've been waiting for something like this for a while. Not because I needed external validation to believe in what we've built. But because the space is full of self-reported accuracy numbers that aren't comparable. Each vendor picks their own test set, their own threshold, their own attack distribution, resulting in numbers that are hardly comparable and lacking transparency for buyers. Podonos did it right: Private labels and a modern synthetic audio set built on the newest voice cloning models (ElevenLabs, F5-TTS, Chatterbox) - the actual tools attackers use today. Reading their conclusion makes us very proud: "Aurigin leads the field", "production-ready", "best at protecting real audio", "above 96% accuracy", "F1 score of 0.96+". Together with Resemble AI, we are co-leaders, with different error profiles suited to different use cases. While our false negative rate is slightly higher, our false positive rate is lower. For us, the low false positive rate is intentional. In content moderation, automated fraud screening, or any context where wrongly flagging real audio has consequences (customer satisfaction, efficiency, costs) - that number matters. We built Aurigin in Europe, with a small team, against well-funded US competitors (incl. several Y Combinator startups). Seeing an independent third party confirm that we are among the best deepfake audio detectors in the world - measured fairly, on a dataset no one controlled - is a testament to our entire team, delivering incredible work every day. The full day agenda at Swiss Cyber AI Conference was built around the tension every organization is living right now: how do you move fast on AI adoption internally while the same technology is being weaponized against you from the outside? As Luzi puts it on stage - we have to jump on the cargo train that is driving at full speed. The threat side of that equation is already measurable: CEO fraud cases in Swiss cantons are running into tens of millions of CHF (thank you again Carine Allaz for bringing this to the audience). Why? Because voice is the one communication channel where companies have built zero technical defenses. While we spent years securing systems, emails, and networks, voice has become the most exposed human vulnerability. This is where we filled the blanks - showing what a voice firewall looks like in practice and why we need to secure the voice channel the same way we did with the rest of our infrastructure. I am super excited to be a speaker at the cyber security conference in my current home town, Lugano, the Swiss Cyber AI Conference. I will be talking about the threats that AI introduces to the voice channel. Cybersecurity is shifting from only protecting systems to now challenge assumptions our entire business process have been built upon. For example the assumption that we can trust what we see and hear. Such shifts are the root cause of many risks we see in the cybersecurity space today.
