One month after the Longevity World Forum, we are pleased to look back at the impact of our participation and the continued momentum it has generated in the field of healthy longevity. Our focus on NAD boosters and cellular longevity sparked strong interest during the congress and resulted in meaningful media coverage, highlighting the growing relevance of this scientific area. The event was also a key moment for Solgar, as we presented our latest innovation, Solgar Cellular Energy with Niagen® Nicotinamide riboside, a clinically studied NAD precursor designed to support cellular vitality*. The positive response from visitors reaffirmed both the scientific potential and consumer demand for innovation in this space. The commitment of our speakers – Dr. Stefan, Dr. Viña, and Prof. Scapagnini – was instrumental in delivering high‑impact content and fostering constructive dialogue with the scientific and healthcare community. Their expertise helped elevate the conversation around longevity and the future of cellular health. Throughout the event, we engaged in high‑quality discussions with experts across the field and generated numerous qualified leads, further strengthening our role in advancing longevity‑focused nutritional science. This milestone reflects our dedication to bringing science‑based solutions that support health and vitality at every stage of life. 🎥 Watch the recap video of our participation at the Longevity World Forum: https://lnkd.in/eetVJx5p *NIAGEN® is a source of niacin. Niacin contributes to a normal energy-yielding metabolism. Food supplements should not be used instead of a varied balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.

In collaboration with MNI, we aim to highlight the need to improve patient access to medical nutrition, and elevate the urgency of addressing access inequities across Europe among policymakers. We invite you to read the newly released White Paper (linked in the post below) and the recent article in European Parliament Magazine to learn more about the current state of patient access and the associated call to action. Read the European Parliament Magazine article here: https://lnkd.in/e_bT2k55
📢 MNI launched a white paper on #inequities in #access to #MedicalNutrition The white paper “Towards closing inequity gaps in access to medical nutrition: Understanding the barriers” is based on a survey from ten countries across different European regions. It highlights key systemic barriers to equitable nutritional care: 🔹 Malnutrition screening is inconsistent: although about 80 % of surveyed countries report screening exists, it is only mandatory in ~20 %, so many at risk patients go undetected. 🔹 Healthcare training gaps: comprehensive nutritional care knowledge is rare — most countries report expertise varies widely, often concentrated in hospitals. 🔹 Uneven reimbursement: even where Food for Special Medical Purposes (medical nutrition) is reimbursed, coverage still depends on care setting, condition and age, creating unequal access. This analysis highlights that despite strong clinical and economic evidence supporting structured nutritional care, access to medical nutrition remains limited and inequitable — a key policy gap that needs to be addressed if we are to improve patient outcomes and optimise health system performance https://lnkd.in/eBDydYtb

Caring for children with special nutritional needs goes beyond delivering calories — it means supporting tolerance, adherence, and helping families manage everyday life. At the ESPEN Congress 2025, new insights from a UK study presented by S. Durnan et al. explored the tolerance, compliance and palatability of a squeezable pediatric oral nutritional supplement pouch containing a blend of fruits - an important step toward making oral solutions both effective and acceptable. Building on decades of expertise in real-food medical nutrition, Compleat continues to develop innovations that address what children, caregivers and healthcare professionals value most — great tolerance, improved compliance, enjoyable taste and confidence in nutritional support. Because when nutrition fits into a child’s life, outcomes improve and families feel supported. And as research grows, these insights will continue shaping the future of nutritional solutions for pediatric patients who need better options. #PediatricNutrition #MedicalNutrition #RealFoodNutrition #ESPEN #HealthcareInnovation #Compleat #NestleHealthScience

Micro- and macro-nutrients are still essential during a weight loss journey, even when the individual doesn't have much of an appetite. Dr. Krysmarú (Krys) Araujo Torres , global head of Nestlé Health Science's scientific, medical, and regulatory teams, explains our approach to supporting these needs in the latest Nestlé CSV report.
🧬⚕️ Bringing Evidence‑Based Nutrition to a New Era of Weight Management I’m proud to be featured in this year’s Creating Shared Value (CSV) publication, highlighting how Nestlé Health Science is supporting individuals using GLP‑1 receptor agonists and other weight‑management medications. As appetite decreases and food intake drops, nutritional quality becomes even more critical. One of the biggest clinical risks during rapid weight loss is loss of lean muscle mass, which is essential for metabolic health, mobility and healthy aging. That’s why our work focuses on preserving muscle, supporting gut health, and ensuring overall nutrient adequacy. 💪🔬 Solutions like Boost Advanced Nutritional Shake — with high‑quality protein, prebiotic fiber, vitamins and minerals — are designed to help maintain muscle and support the unique nutritional needs of people managing their weight. We’re also advancing research in areas like whey protein microgels and the role of prebiotic fibers in gut microbiome and metabolic outcomes. These innovations reflect our belief that medication and nutrition are not competing approaches, but complementary tools in long‑term weight‑management success. Proud of the science, the collaboration, and the real‑world impact we’re driving at Nestlé Health Science. 💙🔬 #CreatingSharedValue #NestléHealthScience #MedicalNutrition #GLP1 #MetabolicHealth #WeightManagement #WeAreNestlé Jacquelyn Campo Chris Hogg Yann Wyss Erin Gilgan Jodie Roussell Tra-Mi Phan, MD MSc MBA Anna Mohl Eugenia Oton Sanchez Linda Zeitzoff, MSN, CRNP CDCES Horace (Hoddy) Klein

New research on healthy longevity, underpinning our Solgar Cellular Nutrition Cellular Energy and Pure Encapsulations NR Longevity.
More great news in the healthy longevity space! 💡New research from our scientists has shown the potential of NAD+ supplementation to promote cellular energy and gut health. NAD+ helps to keep the cells in our bodies functioning properly and is important for things like ⭐energy production and 🧬DNA repair. However, our NAD+ levels naturally decrease as we grow older, and low NAD+ levels are associated with health conditions such as cognitive decline, cardiovascular problems, muscle loss and sleep disturbances. One of the areas most impacted by reduced cellular energy is our gut microbiome, which plays a crucial role in modulating our health as we age, from immunity to neurological function. Read more about this exciting research: https://lnkd.in/ekXr_GH2 These findings underscore our commitment to strengthening Nestlé R&D expertise in biotechnology and clinical research to boost consumer-centric innovation. This research will help guide the development of future nutrition solutions to support health longevity. We’ve launched several nutritional supplements in recent years designed to improve cellular health and support healthy longevity, including 𝘚𝘰𝘭𝘨𝘢𝘳 Cellular Nutrition Cellular Energy and 𝘗𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘌𝘯𝘤𝘢𝘱𝘴𝘶𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 NR Longevity from Nestlé Health Science. We also recently launched 𝘕𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘭𝘦 𝘝𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘭, a range of delicious, science-backed nutritional drinks designed to support smart and healthy aging that can help consumers to complement their diet.
