Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming a special group to our lab in Bern: Kilian Baeriswil from the Federal Office for the Environment brought together around 50 procurement experts as part of PROCURE.ch — with one clear goal: to see real, tangible solutions. And that is exactly what we demonstrated. 🔹 From theory to real-world applications • Andi Stier from armasuisse presented the civil service T-shirt project • Remo Röntgen from Fabric C showcased inherently flame-retardant curtain fabrics, upholstery materials, and hospital textiles made from naNea® 🔹 Rethinking materials Manuel Schweizer presented OceanSafe’s philosophy and technology: Materials should not be “improved” through additives or recycled content — they must be designed right from the start.
