    Today, we want to show you exactly how we inspect one of the most critical safety components in automotive manufacturing: brake pads. When a brake pad surface is not perfectly flat, it causes noise, vibration, and dangerous uneven wear. Standard 2D cameras cannot catch these microscopic depth variations, and manual inspection is far too slow for high-volume lines. Solution: SinceVision SRI7140 3D laser profiler. As shown in the application video below, our profiler scans the entire surface in real time to guarantee absolute flatness.
