Last week, together with #muShanghai, we hosted "Investing in Digital Infrastructure and Trust", bringing together founders, investors, operators, and ecosystem builders to explore how technology is reshaping market efficiency across industries. The evening focused on the systems powering modern business: from AI and digital infrastructure to B2B platforms, trust layers, and operational innovation. “Ego is the worst enemy of a founder” This was one of the key ideas that stayed with us after our conversation with Oscar Ramos, Managing Partner at Orbit Ventures. As part of the Xiji Incubator Seed Program, we brought our founders to Orbit Ventures’ office in Shanghai for an honest discussion about the realities of building a startup: navigating uncertainty, fundraising, positioning, scaling, and learning how investors actually evaluate founders and opportunities. What made the session especially valuable was the combination of personal experience and practical insight that Oscar shared with our founders. Beyond theory, he offered a very direct perspective on the mindset, discipline, and self-awareness required to build something meaningful in highly competitive markets. We are deeply thankful to Oscar for taking the time to meet with our founders and contribute with his experience and guidance.

Xiji Incubator × #Xiaomi #MiMo (Xiaomi Technology): 🚀 New Technology Partnership We are excited to announce a new technology partnership with Xiaomi MiMo, Xiaomi’s AI model family. ⚙️ About Xiaomi MiMo Xiaomi MiMo provides AI model/API capabilities for teams building agents, AI products and workflows. Through this collaboration, Xiji startups will be able to use MiMo as part of their AI stack, testing its API in real product, prototype and workflow scenarios. Together, we are creating a direct channel for international startup teams building with AI from China, while strengthening the support Xiji provides to founders through access to AI infrastructure.
