Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming experts from industry, research, and technology to the 𝗔𝗜 & 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮-𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗺 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 in #Neckarsulm. As organizers, we are grateful for the inspiring discussions, valuable networking, and shared commitment to advancing the future of engineering through AI, simulation, and data-driven methods. A special thank you to Bechtle PLM Deutschland for hosting the forum at their outstanding facility. The venue provided an excellent environment for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and meaningful conversations throughout the day. Together, we explored how the convergence of physics-based simulation and AI is transforming engineering workflows - from virtual validation and optimization to autonomous development processes and closed-loop engineering. The forum also highlighted the challenges that remain: interoperability, integration into existing workflows, governance, standards, and trust in AI-driven results. Addressing these challenges collectively is essential if we want to move from successful pilot projects to scalable industrial solutions. One of the strongest messages from the day was clear: the future of engineering lies not in AI alone, but in the intelligent combination of simulation, data, and AI within connected and continuously learning development ecosystems. We would like to thank all speakers, sponsors, partners, and participants for contributing their expertise and making this event such a success. The conversations and connections established during the forum reaffirm the importance of building a strong European ecosystem for simulation, AI, and engineering excellence. We look forward to continuing this journey together. Fabiola Cavaliere, PhD, Mark F.
