Strong performance at the Neumarkt Company Run 💪   This year, we set a new event record with more than 20,000 kilometers collected together. Benvenuti in Italia! A major milestone for Bionorica: with a press conference in Milan on 11 June, we officially marked our entry into the Italian market. Together with renowned scientific experts, we presented the Phytoneering approach and highlighted the importance of evidence-based herbal medicines, combining nature, research and pharmaceutical quality. "The value lies not simply in the plant itself, but in the method that makes it therapeutically reliable," said Marco Linari, Chief Commercial Officer and Deputy CEO of Bionorica. The event brought together experts from academia, clinical practice and the pharmaceutical industry and generated strong interest among both scientific and general interest media. New Head of Sales Germany at Bionorica Rüdiger Hoppe has taken over the responsibility for our sales organization in Germany. 🏢🇩🇪 He brings extensive leadership experience in sales and marketing within the pharmaceutical industry. His previous career milestones include roles at Alfasigma (Business Unit Director Consumer Healthcare), STADA Arzneimittel, Bausch + Lomb and Dermapharm, where he held comprehensive responsibility for both OTC and Rx business segments. Moving forward, he will work closely with Dr. Sebastian R. (Head of Marketing & Sales Germany) to drive the development of the German market. Their shared focus will be on consistent market cultivation, the further development of our portfolio, and fostering strong partnerships with pharmacies and business partners. 🤝 💬"Bionorica stands for scientifically validated phytotherapy with clear market relevance. How is phytotherapy evolving in response to changes in legislation and health policies? 🌱 This question was addressed by the Corporate Advisory Board of the Society for Phytotherapy (GPT) during its regular meeting at Bionorica in Neumarkt. The focus was on current scientific developments, political conditions and strategic questions regarding the positioning of phytotherapy in Germany and Europe. 🔬  Participants included representatives from companies such as Schwabe Group, WALA, PhytoLab, G. Pohl-Boskamp GmbH & Co. KG, Engelhard Arzneimittel GmbH & Co. KG and Bayer Vital, as well as organisations including the @Bundesverband der Pharmazeutischen Industrie (BPI) and Pharma Deutschland. 🤝  Ongoing dialogue within the industry is crucial for the further development and strengthening of phytotherapy, and makes a significant contribution through collaboration between science, politics, and healthcare. 🌱💬
