What does the future of engineering look like? During a recent visit to Jesuïtes El Clot in Barcelona, Sebastian Seitz, Haluk Menderes and Francisco Chacon met with educators and students who are using Eplan as part of their technical training programs. Since becoming an Eplan Education Partner in 2023, the school has integrated Eplan solutions into courses covering Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Energy & Water, Renewable Energy, Industrial Maintenance, and Vehicle Maintenance Technologies. Today, around 80 students each year gain valuable experience with digital engineering tools that are widely used across industry. Seeing how young talent develops practical skills and confidence through real-world engineering software reinforces the importance of strong partnerships between education and industry. Teamgeist, Zusammenhalt und internationale Vernetzung. All das hat der FLG Football Cup in diesem Jahr einmal mehr gezeigt und damit verdeutlicht, wofür die Friedhelm Loh Group steht. ⚽❤️ In Ewersbach im Dietzhölztal kamen Kolleginnen und Kollegen aus Deutschland, den Niederlanden und dem Vereinigten Königreich zusammen, um einen Tag voller Sport, Begegnungen und gemeinsamer Erlebnisse zu gestalten. Neben spannenden Fußballspielen sorgten ein abwechslungsreiches Rahmenprogramm für die ganze Familie, und eine großartige Atmosphäre für ein gelungenes Event. Besonders beeindruckend war die Unterstützung und das Miteinander über Unternehmens- und Ländergrenzen hinweg. Auch wenn das #Eplan & Cideon Software & Services Team nach der Gruppenphase leider schon ausgeschieden ist, hat das der Stimmung keinen Abbruch getan. Ein herzlicher Glückwunsch geht an das niederländische Rittal GmbH & Co. The #RealizeLIVE Europe 2026 was well attended and packed with sessions and discussions around AI across the product lifecycle, engineering, and manufacturing. A key topic in many conversations was how Eplan can be integrated into Teamcenter-based PLM processes to enable seamless data flows and improve collaboration. The efficient management of mechatronic products and systems also remains a strong focus for many companies. 💡 One clear takeaway: the industry is moving toward a unified digital engineering flow, connecting engineering, automation and PLM to increase efficiency, improve data quality and reduce errors.
