Aktuell begrüßen wir vom 20.07 - 01.08.2026 das #Zig #Zag Jazz Festival im #Gasometer. Ein echtes Kultur- und Musikhighlight mit hochkarätigen Vertreter*innen der internationalen Jazz-Szene. In den ersten beiden Festival-Tagen durften wir bereits Dee Dee Bridgewater, Mario Biondi und Till Brönner auf der Bühne begrüßen.
Was diese Konzerte akustisch so besonders macht: Unser immersives Soundsystem von L-Acoustics sorgt dafür, dass das Publikum im Gasometer nicht einfach "vor" der Bühne sitzt – sondern mitten im Klang. Möglich macht das "L-ISA Immersive Audio".
Was das konkret bedeutet:
▶️ Objektbasierter Klang statt Stereo-Wand: Jedes Instrument bleibt räumlich exakt dort verortet, wo es auf der Bühne steht. Egal, welcher Platz im Saal, der Raumeindruck bleibt derselbe.
▶️ 5 Schallzonen im Rund: Der wird akustisch in 5 Schallzonen aufgeteilt – so entsteht ein gleichmäßiges Klangbild, egal an welcher Stelle im Saal man sitzt.
▶️ Gebaut für Flexibilität: Vom Flachboden bis zur terrassierten Theaterbestuhlung passt sich die Beschallung jeder Bühnenkonfiguration an.
Das Ergebnis: Jazz, der nicht nur gehört, sondern räumlich erlebt wird – in einem der eindrücklichsten Industriedenkmäler Berlins.

We’re currently hosting the #Zig #Zag Jazz Festival at the #Gasometer from July 20 to August 1, 2026. A true cultural and musical highlight featuring top-tier artists from the international jazz scene. During the first two days of the festival, we’ve already had the pleasure of welcoming Dee Dee Bridgewater, Mario Biondi, and Till Brönner to the stage.
What makes these concerts so special acoustically: Our immersive sound system from L-Acoustics ensures that the audience at the Gasometer isn’t just sitting “in front of” the stage - but right in the middle of the sound. This is made possible by “L-ISA Immersive Audio,” which is permanently installed at the Gasometer.
Here’s what that means in practice:
▶️ Object-based sound instead of a stereo wall: Each instrument remains spatially positioned exactly where it stands on stage. No matter where you sit in the hall, the sense of space remains the same.
▶️ 5 sound zones in the circular space: The space is acoustically divided into 5 sound zones - creating a uniform sound image no matter where you’re seated in the hall.
▶️ Built for flexibility: From a flat floor to tiered theater seating, the sound system adapts to any stage configuration.
The result: Jazz that isn’t just heard, but experienced spatially - in one of Berlin’s most impressive industrial landmarks.
