A sweet day spent together 🍬☀️ Last weekend, HARIBO Nordics had the pleasure of welcoming employees and their families for a Family Day in Faxe. From fun activities for both children and adults to cold drinks, food, coffee, ice cream, and plenty of sweets, there was something for everyone to enjoy. Most importantly, it was a wonderful opportunity to spend time together and create memories with colleagues and loved ones. A big thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day such a success. We are “HERE FOR A CHEER”! 🎉 To bring this spirit of everyday cheer to life, HARIBO’s “Here for a Cheer!” tour is travelling across the UK this summer, celebrating everyday efforts and turning them into moments of recognition – with little rewards and plenty of HARIBO cheer. Last week, we launched the campaign at London Waterloo Station, where commuters were surprised with our colourful HARIBO “Cheer-Thru” pop-up, cheerleaders and little HARIBO rewards – celebrating everything from making it through the daily commute to the small efforts that often go unnoticed. Our “Here for Cheer!” tour will be popping up across the country over the coming weeks, so be sure to see if you can spot a chance to celebrate your little wins! 🎉 Our new warehouse is officially open! ✂️ With a traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony support by Yvette Cooper, MP for Pontefract, Castleford and Knottingley and Foreign Secretary, we celebrated the completion of our new warehouse and site expansion in Castleford, marking an important milestone in our continued investment in West Yorkshire, our home for over 50 years. This £35 million investment will help us support future growth, modernise our operations and help to continue bringing our much-loved treats to fans across the UK. Built in partnership with Yorkshire-based Caddick Construction Limited and supported by a local supply chain, this project reflects the skills, talent and manufacturing heritage that make the region so special. 👏 A huge thank you to #TeamHARIBO and everyone involved in bringing this project to life. Last Saturday, we traded our usual routines for a day on two wheels and completed the "small Balaton loop" – a 79 km cycling tour starting and finishing in Balatonalmádi. 🚴🚴♀️🚴♂️ Along the way, we took a well-deserved refreshment break in Balatonakarattya, enjoyed a great lunch together in Zamárdi, and then crossed Lake Balaton by ferry from Szántód to Tihany before heading back to Balatonalmádi. ⛴️ For some of our most dedicated cyclists, the challenge was even bigger. They rode from Veszprém to Balatonalmádi before the tour and cycled back afterward, bringing their total distance to well over 100 km for the day. A remarkable achievement and a testament to their determination and endurance. 🚵♂️ Beyond the kilometers, the day was about enjoying the stunning scenery of Lake Balaton, supporting one another, and spending quality time together outside the workplace. Experiences like these strengthen not only our legs but also the connections that make us a great team. Thank you to everyone who joined the ride and helped make it such a memorable day.
