Kreussler was founded in 1912 and is a fourth-generation, family-owned company with two divisions: Textile Care and Pharma. Across both areas, the company is committed to environmentally friendly, forward-thinking innovation, exceptional quality, and the responsible use of natural resources. The Textile Care division develops high-quality, highly concentrated detergents and auxiliaries for laundries of all sizes. These products have long been free from phosphates, borates, perborates, APEO, EDTA, and NTA. As the inventor of the original Lanadol wet cleaning system and SYSTEMK4, Kreussler Textile Care offers two sustainable solutions for gentle, color- and fiber-safe cleaning of non-washable textiles. The Pharma division develops and markets pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and select health-related products, particularly for oral and throat care as well as venous therapy. Several products, such as Aethoxysklerol®, are international market leaders in their fields. Both pharmaceutical and active ingredient production facilities are regularly inspected, including by the U.S. FDA. Kreussler is certified according to DIN EN ISO 14001:2015 and DIN EN ISO 9001:2015. A sophisticated wastewater treatment system, along with solar panels and heat exchangers for energy supply, are core elements of the company’s sustainability strategy. Kreussler is a member of the VCI and committed to the principles of the global Responsible Care initiative.

His vision for innovation, global growth, and continued commitment to manufacturing excellence in Germany is a great addition to the Kreussler Group. Welcome aboard, Dr. Goebel!
One month already. It feels like I only started yesterday – and at the same time, a lot has already happened in these first weeks as Managing Director at Kreussler Group. The first month has been intense, fast-paced, and full of new impressions. Over the past weeks, I have immersed myself in the business, met colleagues across the organization, and gained a firsthand understanding of what drives the company. What has impressed me most is the combination of deep expertise, strong commitment, and a genuine desire to continuously develop, improve, and move things forward. I have encountered a team that is proud of what has been built over many years and equally motivated to further develop it. Joining Kreussler brings together several aspects that have shaped my career so far: healthcare, regulated markets, manufacturing, international business, and the opportunity to help shape an organization’s future. The company combines a clear commitment to manufacturing and value creation in Germany with a truly global footprint. Products developed and manufactured in Germany are supported by marketing authorizations in more than 30 countries and reach patients and customers worldwide through our own subsidiaries and a strong network of international partners. The portfolio covers both prescription (Rx) and over-the-counter (OTC) products, combining clinical depth with direct patient access in regulated pharmaceutical markets, and expanding my perspective across the full breadth of pharmaceutical care. At a time when Germany as a pharmaceutical and industrial location faces increasing challenges, it is essential to continue investing in innovation, manufacturing capabilities, and long-term competitiveness. Companies that remain committed to developing and producing in Germany play an important role in strengthening both healthcare systems and the broader economy. The international perspective is also a key part of my new role. This week, I will be travelling to China to meet one of our key distribution partners and gain further insights into one of the world's most dynamic healthcare markets. Direct exchange with customers, partners, and local teams remains essential for understanding market needs and building sustainable growth. While I have started a new chapter professionally, I remain grateful for the relationships and experiences that have shaped the previous one. I look forward to staying connected with colleagues and partners across the medical cannabis and broader healthcare sectors and continuing the exchange on innovation, regulation, patient access, and the future of healthcare. A sincere thank you to the entire Kreussler team for the warm welcome, the trust, and the support during these first weeks. 📌 Mitgliederversammlung des BPI-Landesverbands Hessen/Rheinland-Pfalz/Saarland Bei unserer gestrigen Mitgliederversammlung standen die Aktivitäten des Landes- und Bundesverbands ebenso im Fokus wie die aktuellen Herausforderungen für die pharmazeutische Industrie. Dr. Martin Klonowski, Stabsstelle Entbürokratisierung, gab konkrete Einblicke, wie Hessen Entbürokratisierung und Staatsmodernisierung vorantreibt. Einen Überblick über die Entwicklungen auf Bundesebene und die politischen Leitplanken für die Branche ordnete Dr. Kai Joachimsen, MD, MBA, Hauptgeschäftsführer des Bundesverband der Pharmazeutischen Industrie, ein. Zudem gratulieren wir herzlich den nachgewählten Vorstandsmitgliedern Inken Sponholz (Athenstaedt) und Dr. Ruediger Merkel (Norgine). Ein besonderer Höhepunkt im Jubiläumsjahr: In Hessen – dem Gründungsort des BPI – durften wir einige Gründungsmitglieder ehren. Anwesend waren Athenstaedt, Kreussler Group und Engelhard Arzneimittel GmbH & Co. KG. Zu den weiteren Gründungsmitgliedern zählen Hennig Arzneimittel, Hormosan Pharma GmbH und Pascoe Naturmedizin – herzlichen Glückwunsch!
