NEURA Robotics is a German high-tech company founded in 2019 in Metzingen near Stuttgart with the goal to revolutionize the world of robotics. Our mission is to expand the skill set of robots with cognitive capabilities so that they can work with humans in existing environments without having to invest in complex and costly safety systems. We aim to help make numerous fields of work more attractive, safer, and more social. Our guiding principle “we serve humanity” sums up this mission. Today, more than 1000 team members from over 45 countries are working on advanced technology in the fields of environmental perception, drive and control technology, materials science, mechanical design, and AI. By developing all key components such as AI, control software, sensor technology, and mechanical components in-house, the development team has made groundbreaking progress in a variety of areas. With products such as MAiRA, the world’s first cognitive robot, or MiPA, a household and service robot, humanity awaits a new era of robotics. NEURA Robotics is currently working on launching 4NE1 (“For Anyone”), the first humanoid robot ready for series production. With the Neuraverse, a comprehensive ecosystem for innovations in the field of cognitive robotics, NEURA Robotics is creating an important technical basis for automation solutions and enabling the networking of robots and partner companies on a global scale.

    We're continuing the global rollout of our NEURA Gyms.   In partnership with RWTH Aachen University, one of Europe's leading technical universities, we're launching the NEURA Gym RWTH Aachen. We’re combining our commercial robotics platform with the university’s deep expertise in robotics and machine intelligence. But that's not all: Five locations across Europe, the United States, and China will be up and running by the end of 2026. Two flagship sites anchor the network in Germany: the NEURA Gym RWTH Aachen, to be established at the Hightech Campus Melaten, and the TUM RoboGym (powered by NEURA) at Munich Airport. Every one of these NEURA Gyms exists to tackle the same issue: the scarcity of training data from authentic environments. Training a robot for the real world takes exactly that. Robots can't learn physical tasks from the internet the way language models do, and simulation alone will only get you so far. In the NEURA Gyms, humans train robots to meet their own needs, creating high-quality datasets that will be made available to the robotics community in an open ecosystem to advance Physical AI. 🦾 We're opening early access to robots and training environments for industrial partners.     𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗡𝗘𝗨𝗥𝗔 𝗥𝗼𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝘁𝗮𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝘀𝘆𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗥𝗼𝗯𝗼𝘁𝘀… 💭🩶 At CES, I had the opportunity to spend some time with the NEURA Robotics team and experience cognitive & humanoid robots up close. One thing fascinated me: Not every robot should look the same. Cleaning up the children’s room felt more natural with smaller robots. Doing the laundry made more sense with larger, more human-sized systems. It made me realize that designing robots isn’t only an engineering challenge – it’s also a psychological one. That experience inspired me to dive deeper into one of the most fascinating topics from my Tech Psychology studies. In the latest edition of my 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗗𝗶𝗮𝗿𝘆, I explore questions such as: • Why robots that look almost human can suddenly feel unsettling (The Uncanny Valley) • What happens to our brains when AI starts thinking alongside us (Cognitive Offloading) • Which human values we should embed into intelligent machines (Moral Machines) • Why we naturally form emotional connections with technology (Anthropomorphism) The more I learn about AI and robotics, the more I realize: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗶𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗺𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀.     Automate in Chicago is running and the energy at our booth has been incredible so far. Over the past two days, we’ve welcomed an amazing mix of visitors: customers, partners, investors, and journalists from around the world. We’re especially excited that so many people are experiencing Physical AI live for the first time: interacting directly with our robots and seeing just how far cognitive robotics has already come.
