Today we published our 2024/2025 #SustainabilityReport, highlighting the progress we're making across our sustainability priorities 🌍. Over this period, we reduced Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 31% compared with our 2019 baseline, lowered Scope 3 emissions by 19% versus 2021, and increased renewable electricity use to 83% across our global operations. We also continued expanding our eco-efficient #EOX platform, which represented 80% of elevator order intake units in Europe and 40% in the Americas. With its innovative design – featuring regenerative drives and intelligent eco modes – EOX delivers up to 60% lower embodied carbon and 45% lower energy consumption, helping to drive decarbonization across the value chain. These achievements are the result of the dedication of our teams around the world and are complemented by continued progress in safety, digitalization, and responsible supply chain management. The airport apron is going digital, and TK Elevator is helping lead the way! ✈️ The apron — the area where aircraft meet the terminal — is becoming smarter, more connected, and increasingly automated. The ACI World - Airports Council International predicts a record-breaking 10.2 billion passengers expected to travel through airports worldwide in 2026, and airports need innovative solutions to manage growing passenger volumes and aircraft traffic. TK Elevator is helping airports around the world meet this demand with digitally enabled and automated apron solutions. During the first half of the year: 🔸 MAX Automate is now running at key international airports, enabling passenger boarding bridges to operate remotely or automatically, in a smarter and more efficient way. 🔸 Additional MAX Automate deployments are already underway across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. 🔸 Full-apron monitoring continues to expand, with agreements to monitor entire aprons and their ground support equipment in real time. 🔸 More than 250 advanced Visual Docking Guidance Systems (VDGS) have been awarded so far this year, alongside contracts for over 120 passenger boarding bridges worldwide. A couple of weeks late on this post but my team and I just wrapped up an incredible visit to the TKE escalator manufacturing factory in Hamburg. Our team gained valuable insight into new approaches and technologies that may help tackle several unique escalator challenges here in DC. What really stood out was the innovation, precision and professionalism behind every step of the manufacturing process. We really appreciate the TKE team for hosting us during thier escalator days open house ! Great conversations, great learning and can’t forget the BBQ! Thank you Team Hamburg !
