Die ProWein in Düsseldorf ist die weltweit wichtigste Fachmesse für Weine und Spirituosen. Hier trifft sich einmal im Jahr die gesamte Branche, um sich zu informieren und zu ordern. Mit dabei sind mehrere Tausend Aussteller - Produzenten aus allen relevanten Weinregionen dieser Welt. Zu den größten Ausstellernationen zählen Italien, Frankreich, Deutschland, Spanien, Österreich, Portugal und Übersee. Dazu kommen zahlreiche Aussteller aus der ganzen Welt mit besonderen Spirituosen. Insgesamt belegt die ProWein zehn dreizehn komplette Messehallen auf dem Gelände der Messe Düsseldorf. Das einzigartige Angebot der ProWein zieht jedes Jahr Fachleute aus der ganzen Welt an: Seit ihrer Premiere vor über 25 Jahren ist die ProWein eine reine Fachmesse. Jeder Besucher muss einen Nachweis erbringen, dass er beruflich mit Wein zu tun hat – als Fachhändler, im Großhandel, im Bereich Import/ Export, als Gastronom. Entsprechend viel und gut wird auf der ProWein geordert. Für alle Weinliebhaber gibt es parallel zur Fachmesse die Aktion „ProWein goes city“ mit vielen Wein-Events in und um Düsseldorf. Der Erfolg der ProWein beschränkt sich nicht allein auf Düsseldorf. 2013 startete die erste ProWine in Shanghai. Damit legte die ProWein den Grundstein für ein mittlerweile sehr erfolgreiches, internationales Satelliten-Netzwerk. Zur ProWein World Familie gehören heute neben der ProWine Shanghai, die ProWine Singapore, die ProWine Hong Kong, die ProWine Mumbai und die ProWine Sao Paulo.
