Yesterday was a truly special day — both for me personally and also for the whole TIDORA team 🇪🇪☁️
A few months ago, we were sitting together with Radek Forgač discussing how we’re missing an active cloud community in Estonia and across the Baltic region. So, we decided to do something about it. Our idea was simple: let’s start small — organize a community meetup for about 30 people in Tallinn.
But then… something magical happened ✨
As we started talking to people and sharing our vision, the idea began to grow — fast. By coincidence (or maybe luck!), we later found out that our planned date was the same day as the official opening of the first Amazon Web Services (AWS) Estonia office ☁️
One conversation led to another, and suddenly we had the opportunity to help organize the whole day — from support of the AWS opening summit, to the Baltic Connect Community event, and finally an executive dinner at Fotografiska Tallinn (both community event and dinner organized by us).
From an idea of a small meetup for 30 people, we ended up helping to create a full cloud day in Tallinn! In the end, we had 190 registered participants and around 120 people who joined in person - an incredible result for a first community event 💪 And currently, our vision goes much further, with a cloud community connecting the entire Baltic region with regular events in all capital cities 🇪🇪🇱🇻🇱🇹

And as a cherry on top, we even received official support from Zdenek Beranek the Ambassador of the Czech Republic in Estonia, which means a lot to me as Czech founder building TIDORA here in Estonia 🇨🇿❤️🇪🇪
This day showed us how quickly things can grow when you put genuine energy into them — and how strong the Baltic cloud community can become when we connect and collaborate 🤝
This is just start of something extraordinary 🌍⚡
