Kivonat A cikkben bemutatjuk a StaffTalk nevű, nagy méretű, kézzel annotált korpuszt, mely magyar... more Kivonat A cikkben bemutatjuk a StaffTalk nevű, nagy méretű, kézzel annotált korpuszt, mely magyar nyelvű spontán beszélgetéseket tartalmaz. A korpusz létrehozásával elsősorban ahhoz szerettünk volna vizsgálati anyagot teremteni, hogy zárt közösségeken belül az informális kommunikáció és a megbecsültség hogyan befolyásolja a közösség működését és normarendszerét. A munka első lépéseként a hanganyagokat legépeltettük, amelynek során a verbális információn túl egyéb, nem verbális információk megjelölésére is megkértük az annotátorokat. A legépelt hanganyagokat ezt követően három szinten annotáltuk: a beszélgetésekben megjelenő pletykát, beszédaktusokat és egyéb pragmatikai jegyeket, valamint bizonytalanságra utaló szavakat egyaránt megjelöltünk. Mindezeknek a sajátságoknak köszönhetően a kiinduló kutatási kérdéssel összefüggésben, valamint azon túl is a korpusz sokféle pragmatikai szempontú elemzés elvégzésére is alkalmassá vált. Gossip is one of the most widespread human activities with multiple functions such as enhancing h... more Gossip is one of the most widespread human activities with multiple functions such as enhancing human cooperation, establishing social order, information sharing, norm enhancing or stress reduction. Gossip has been analyzed mostly by qualitative or survey methods. In this paper, we describe a quantitative approach to identify gossip in a large corpus containing spontaneous talk with LDA topic modeling and quantitative analysis. We aim to identify gossip and its characteristics to analyze its topics, the verbal and non-verbal emotions that were used during gossiping, and other non-textual data such as the number of speakers and the number of persons present during the gossiping events. We also analyze the topics to distinguish gossiping and storytelling by dividing gossip and non-gossip texts in our large spontaneous speech corpora.

A hazai fesztivál önkéntes szervezeten belül kialakult három szintű hierarchia (önkéntesek, mento... more A hazai fesztivál önkéntes szervezeten belül kialakult három szintű hierarchia (önkéntesek, mentorok, koordinátorok) jól tükrözi a szervezeti működés professzionalizálódását. A középvezetői szintet képviselő mentori pozíció egyedülálló tanulási lehetőséget jelent az önkéntes programba jelentkező fiatalok számára. A mentorok 20-30 önkéntesből álló csoport munkájáért felelnek a fesztivál ideje alatt, lehetővé téve olyan - a munkaerőpiacon is jól hasznosítható - készségek elsajátítását, mint például a csapatmunka szervezése és számonkérése, a csoportos és csoportközti kommunikáció, továbbá a feladat-, illetve humánerőforrás koordinációja. Az esettanulmány alapját képező kutatás a Sziget Fesztivál ideje alatt kapcsolathálózati módszerekkel vizsgálta a fesztivál önkéntesek mentori szintjét 2018-ban. Violence might increase post-separation, and visitation can offer an opportunity to the perpetrat... more Violence might increase post-separation, and visitation can offer an opportunity to the perpetrator for maintaining power and control over the mother and child. In relationships where intimate partner violence (IPV) exists, it is hypothesized that fathers may continue their violent behaviors throughout visitation with children. The study uses mixed methods: After completing of a screening questionnaire (n = 593) we recruited 168 individuals from our sample with problematic child custody cases who completed an online survey. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with 30 mothers with experience of problematic child custody cases. This paper reports only the qualitative results of the research. The findings highlight how custody and visitation rights may be used as a form of custodial violence and a continuation of IPV. Problematic child custody and visitation cases were reported following separation from an abusive partner because using legal proceedings as a weapon to maintain power and control over the former partner and child. Institutions involved in custody and contact-related legal procedures do not take into consideration the violence of the abusive ex-partner as a factor when determining custody and contact arrangements, even though it may work in opposition to the child's wellbeing. The analysis of the data shows that child custody and visitation arrangements did not reflect clear understanding of domestic violence, coercive control and the effects of these on children's wellbeing. Fathers were reported to be able to control the everyday lives of their ex-partners and their children through lack of institutional recognition of domestic violence.

On the basis of the before mentioned while examining the context of a small settlement's school, it can be asked whether it is a separating school context which excludes children of different social strata or it is a concentrating one. Furthermore, was it really the goal of the settlement on the one hand to maintain an institution aimed at elite training where, their children get the proper knowledge to preserve their present lifestyles, and in order to achieve it to maintain a concentrating special school for children of lower strata, which prevents the downcast in many respects from moving up?
