  • 𝗕𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲. After an intense first half of the year, our team took some time to reconnect and strengthen what makes every project possible: the people behind it. As part of the day, we visited Raventós Codorníu, a historic Catalan winery where centuries of tradition, craftsmanship and modernist architecture come together. More than the place itself, what inspired us most was what it represents. Lasting success is never built overnight. It is shaped over time through craftsmanship, dedication, trust and generations of people working towards a shared purpose. The same is true in science. Every breakthrough, every innovation and every meaningful advance is the result of people sharing knowledge, challenging ideas and moving forward together. As we begin the second half of the year, we're grateful for the opportunity to strengthen the relationships that make our science, our collaboration and our innovation possible. Because behind every project at Fagron Genomics, there are people driven by curiosity, commitment and a shared purpose to make a difference. Science moves forward through people. So do we. #Teamwork #Science #FagronGenomics

  • 🧬 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗰 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆 Why do some athletes fatigue sooner than others? Why do endurance cyclists maintain remarkable stamina? And what enables swimmers and triathletes to sustain high levels of performance? Aerobic capacity (VO₂max) is influenced by multiple physiological processes, many of which have a genetic component. Could genetics help explain part of these differences? Research has shown that genetic factors can contribute to differences in: • Oxygen utilization • Endurance-related muscle characteristics • Response to intense physical effort • Adaptation to endurance training • Performance in low-oxygen environments Understanding these differences may help explain why athletes can respond very differently to the same training program. As sports science advances, genetic insights are helping professionals better understand individual differences in performance and training adaptation. Discover how 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁 helps professionals explore genetic insights related to athletic performance. #SportTest #AthletePerformance #SportsMedicine #GeneticTesting #FagronGenomics 𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 Snyder et al., 2006. 10.1113/jphysiol.2005.098558 Wolfarth et al., 2007. 10.1016/j.metabol.2007.07.006 Tsianos et al., 2009. 10.1152/japplphysiol.00780.2009 Sawczuk et al., 2013. 10.1080/02640414.2013.786184 Wagoner et al., 2000. 10.1161/01.res.86.8.834

  • 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱. 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁. Two athletes can follow the same program, complete the same sessions, and show very different outcomes. Why? Because factors such as recovery, muscle adaptation, and physiological response are highly individual. Understanding this variability is becoming increasingly important in sports science. Genetics may provide part of the answer. And perhaps it's time to rethink how we personalize training. #SportPerformance #SportsMedicine #PrecisionHealth #PersonalizedTraining #HighPerformance #FagronGenomics
