Fusion for Energy ha compartido esto
This week in Japan, I had the privilege to witness the strength of the EU-Japan partnership in fusion energy. Visiting JT-60SA, the world's largest tokamak in operation, was a powerful reminder of what international collaboration can achieve. This unique flagship project is advancing science and will provide new knowledge to support ITER Organization and future fusion power plants. I also had the opportunity to visit LIPAc, an important facility making solid progress, improving our capabilities in testing fusion materials, paving the way for IFMIF-DONES in Europe. My sincere thanks to our hosts at National Institutes for Quantum Science and Technology (QST) their warm welcome, hospitality and meaningful exchanges. I would also like to recognise the outstanding work of the Fusion for Energy teams, Europe’s researchers, industrial partners, and all contributors whose dedication makes these achievements possible. Together, we are advancing science and strengthening international partnerships to make fusion energy a reality.
