  • This has been a big week for Zelestra in the US. Following the new PPA with Tesla and the financing agreement for Skull Creek, we want to delve deeper into how we construct and deliver projects for our customers. Building renewable energy projects at scale takes more than technical expertise. It takes discipline, collaboration, and relentless execution. In the latest Co-Powered Podcast episode, Patrick McCoyd, P.E., PMP, VP of Construction at Zelestra US, talks about what it really takes to deliver utility-scale projects across the country. That means coordinating multiple sites and contractors, and hitting critical utility and commercial milestones along the way. His takeaway: doing the right thing, taking ownership, and solving problems together as one team make all the difference. The US remains one of our key growth markets. We currently have around 1 GW under construction, with more on the way. Our teams stay focused on getting it done safely, on schedule, and to the highest standard. Listen to the full episode to hear Patrick's take on leadership and execution at scale. https://lnkd.in/gM228EEr

A major milestone in our ambitious US growth journey, strengthening our ability to deliver for customers. We've secured $181 million in green project financing with Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking to advance Skull Creek, our 176 MW solar project in Anderson County, Texas. As it comes online by the end of 2027, the project is expected to support around 200 jobs and deliver an estimated $8.2 million in economic impact for the local community. Sybil Cioffi, our US CFO, put it best: "We're scaling fast in the US, with over 2 GW contracted and around 1 GW in construction today. Working with tier-one financing partners such as Natixis CIB is a strong signal of where that momentum is headed — their support reflects real confidence in our execution track record and our growth trajectory in this market." • Tesla will purchase the entire output of our 140 MWac Lumen Farm solar project in Texas under a new long-term energy agreement. Located in northeast Texas, Lumen Farm is expected to enter construction in 2027 and reach full operations in 2029. The agreement expands on our energy engagements with Tesla, which began in Spain in 2024 with a 57 MWac agreement for solar output from the Brazatortas plants in Castilla-La Mancha. Phillip North, CEO of Zelestra US: "As a trusted global partner, we can deliver bespoke solutions for clients in multiple geographies. We're excited to expand our relationship with Tesla to the US." A clean energy agreement in Aragón is about to deliver a decade of positive local change. Today we're rolling out Redolada. It is a community energy fund powered by Microsoft and Zelestra, managed by ECODES (Fundación Ecología y Desarrollo), backed by a 10-year commitment worth up to €6M for the region. The name comes from the Aragonese word for the shared territory that connects communities. That's exactly what it's built to do. First up: schools in Belchite and Escatrón cutting their energy bills and turning students into energy advisers for their own families. Local action groups ADECOBEL and CEDEMAR strengthening community organisations and putting rural young people at the heart of environmental action — from canoe journeys down the Ebro to youth-led energy challenges across six municipalities. As Scarlett Alvarez Uzcategui, our Chief Stakeholder and Sustainability Officer, puts it: "Redolada shows how a renewable energy agreement can deliver value far beyond the power it supplies." • The early signal from our poll is clear: grid optimization is where you see AI making the biggest difference right now. 44% picked grid optimization and forecasting. Predictive maintenance followed at 34%, with project development and customer insights behind. It tracks. Forecasting solar and wind output, balancing supply and demand as conditions shift, deciding exactly when a battery should charge or discharge this is where AI is already proving its worth on real assets, not just in theory. But here's what we find most interesting: these four areas don't compete. They compound. Good forecasting makes maintenance schedules smarter. Reliable maintenance is what makes forecasting worth trusting in the first place. Better siting decisions feed cleaner data back into both. Each layer makes the next one stronger. That's the real shift. The value isn't in deploying AI to any single function it's in connecting them into one intelligent system that learns across the whole asset base. The operators who treat these as separate tools will see incremental gains. The ones who architect them as a connected system will redefine what a renewable platform can do. That's the work we're focused on. #RenewableEnergy #AI #EnergyTransition #SmartGrid #BESS

Our CEO in Italy, Eliano Russo, joins Alessandro Pedrotti in the #CaffèRinnovabile podcast to discuss Zelestra’s rapid growth and our plans to support Italy’s energy transition through major investment in solar and battery storage.   Across Europe, our customer-centric strategy helps us understand market demand and build long-term partnerships with leading customers. Italy is no exception.   But long-term investment also requires a stable and transparent regulatory framework. Delivering Europe’s climate goals amid geopolitical complexity requires clear objectives, a shared direction and sufficient regulatory certainty to invest with confidence.   Listen to the conversation below.

#PremiosEnergia26
