Mollie x Design Your Life Scholarship application form

Welcome! We are incredibly excited to invite you to apply for a scholarship to the upcoming Designing Your Life workshop in Amsterdam!

This program is part of Mollie Pathways, a flagship initiative organized by Mollie's Social Impact Working Group. Our mission is to give back to our community by actively removing the financial and structural barriers that often make the tech sector feel out of reach.

This is a fully funded scholarship provided by Mollie (including tuition, travel to and from the venue, and accommodation). We are especially eager to support women who are facing professional challenges breaking into the tech world, navigating a career transition, or trying to find their unique career path in what can be a male-dominated sector.

🛠️ About the Workshop: Design Thinking for Life & Career

If you’re looking for more alignment between your values and your career, Designing Your Life offers a proven, research-backed framework developed at Stanford University.

This highly interactive, 2-day immersive weekend sprint helps you take radical ownership of your professional direction. Instead of just falling into a role by default, you’ll learn to use design-thinking principles to reframe professional challenges, explore new possibilities, and move forward with confidence. (You may already know the bestselling book—now you can experience the method in practice!)

🤝 The Buddy System: You Won't Walk Alone

We don't believe in corporate silos. To break down "us vs. them" barriers, our three external scholarship recipients will learn side-by-side with three internal Mollie team members. You will be paired with a dedicated Mollie buddy to welcome you, share genuine insights into the tech world, and ensure you feel supported from day one.

📍 The Logistics:

  • Where: Amsterdam (In-person)
  • When: September 26–27, 9:00 – 17:30 CET (2 full days, weekend)
  • What's Covered: Full tuition, return travel to Amsterdam, and hotel accommodation are 100% covered by the Mollie Social Impact budget.
  • Delivery Partner: Hosted by Beyond Boundaries, the official Designing Your Life partner in the Netherlands.
