📢 Colas’ Half-Year Results are now live! A few facts about our results from the first half of 2026… ➡️ The order backlog continued to increase like-for-like and at constant exchange rates, namely driven by Canada and the Overseas France, Indian Ocean region. ➡️ Sales were down slightly, notably due to the election year in France. However, sales in the United States and in the Rail segment were up. ➡️ The current operating profit (COPA) is stable compared to last year. ➡️ The net result attributable to the Group has improved in most of our regions and segments. Reminder: due to the highly seasonal nature of the majority of the Group's businesses, operating losses are recorded every first half year. ➡️ The net debt was at €308 million at end of June 2026, an improvement of €203 million compared to end of June 2025.   In an uncertain economic and geopolitical environment, the Colas Group has strong fundamentals, notably our presence across the entire value chain and our healthy financial situation.   Among the major events in the first half of the year, we finalized the acquisition of the construction and recycling activities of the Frauenrath Group in Germany at the end of May. We also won significant contracts around the world, such as the western section of the Bradford bypass in Canada, the electrical systems of the future Line 9 of the Santiago metro in Chile, the western line of the Vantaa tramway in Finland, and the rehabilitation of runway 4 at Paris-Orly airport in France.   To learn more, click the slideshow below and read the Bouygues Group press release here 👉

Take a closer look at Hutchison Quarries in Australia with Claire! 🪨 Spotlight on Claire, who participated in a traineeship at Hutchison that allowed her to gain practical experience and skills in quarry operations. Her growth was supported by dedicated team members like Stephen, Quarry Manager, at the site. Claire is now a full-time employee, working as a Dump Truck Driver! 👏 Hutchison provides materials such as road base, rail ballast, and aggregates to the Queensland region, supporting important infrastructure projects for local communities. This Australian quarry is part of Colas’ larger materials business, operating around the world. With more than 500 quarries and gravel pits in total, we produce, sell, and recycle construction materials for all types of uses. Improving access to an iconic urban landmark 🛣 In Casablanca, Morocco, our teams at GTR - Les Grands Travaux Routiers recently delivered the boulevard upgrade around the Mohammed V Stadium, helping improve access, safety, and the surrounding urban environment. This stadium hosts national soccer matches and international events, and is a historic piece of infrastructure for the city and country. Eighty team members worked over six months to complete this project involving 14,000 m³ of earthworks, 2,500 m³ of paving, 45 km of curbs, and 51,000 metric tons of asphalt mix. It's an excellent example of what strong coordination and field expertise can achieve! Did you know that we've been present in Morocco for nearly a century? We're a major player in public works and railway construction through landmark projects in the road, railway, and industrial sectors. We're proud to be a key partner in the country's development. Dreaming of a beach vacation? Take a trip with us to this Mediterranean island that we gave a complete makeover! 🏝 On Bendor Island, which reopened to the public this May after three years of transformation, teams from Colas France and Bouygues Bâtiment Sud-Est rose to a remarkable challenge: carrying out extensive works while preserving the island’s authentic character 💛 This was no ordinary project! Everything had to be transported by boat (people, equipment, materials, and more), work was carried out right next to the sea, and crews had to contend with rugged terrain, cliffs, and changing weather conditions. At the peak of the works, up to 500 team members from various trades helped renovate and build new facilities and infrastructure, bringing together a wide range of Groupe Bouygues expertise.
