When we started Fleet, there is one use case we had not fully anticipated : Global delivery. Today, Fleet delivers devices in 150+ countries. Not just in the obvious places. We help companies ship laptops, phones and accessories to employees in regions where procurement is hard, customs are painful, supply chains are fragmented, and local vendors are often unreliable or impossible to coordinate at scale. And this has become one of our strongest use cases. Because when a company starts scaling internationally, IT suddenly becomes a much bigger problem than just “buying laptops”. You need to source the right devices locally or globally. You need to handle customs, taxes, delivery, returns, repairs, storage and redeployment. You need to keep every device secure and tracked. You need visibility across countries, currencies, suppliers and employees. And you need all of this to work without building a massive internal operation. This market is huge — and still extremely poorly addressed. Remote work is not going away. Companies are becoming global earlier. Teams are more distributed. And the volume of IT assets per employee keeps increasing: laptops, phones, screens, accessories, security tools, and more. Yet most companies still manage this with a patchwork of local resellers, spreadsheets, manual processes and endless Slack messages. That does not scale. Fleet’s role is simple: one partner, one platform, one global IT operating system. From procurement to delivery, from device management to security, from onboarding to offboarding — across every geography. One thing I’ve learned as an entrepreneur is that some of the best opportunities are not the ones you predicted at the beginning. They emerge from the market. From customer pain. From repeated patterns you start seeing again and again. The key is to notice them early — and move fast when they appear. Global IT logistics was not the original use case we had in mind. But it is becoming one of the clearest reasons companies choose Fleet today
