Did you know IPO stands for Intense Planning Operation? …okay, that’s not actually true (sorry if that stopped you in your tracks) — but the sentiment still stands, and companies making the shift from private to public have a lot to consider on their journey to going public. Chime VP of Finance Sofia Fatakhova recently walked us through what it takes to become a public company, and why the months of preparation matter as much as the debut itself. As she puts it: "All the lights are on, and everything becomes visible, so you have to be able to operate with efficiency and accuracy… this was not an overnight process, but certainly took us some time, and a lot of buy-in across the entire team.” Sofia is just one of several leaders that inspired our newest guide, Navigating the IPO Journey — a resource highlighting how companies preparing for IPO are approaching the process. After you clock out, Pigment's agents (c)lock in 🕰️ For Sifted, Pigment Field CTO Thierry D'Hers shared what agentic planning looks like #withPigment: the Modeler and Analyst agents carry work forward while users are off the clock — with completed queries ready for review once they return. The Rise of AI Agents covers how European companies are moving agents from pilots into daily operations, where human judgement still matters most, and how teams are putting agents to work. 📈 Planning processes often have a breaking point. For Block, one came about when the business started asking questions faster than spreadsheets could answer them. Hear how Block's Gurneet Kaur navigated that need for change in the latest episode of Portraits by Pigment: https://okt.to/rfXml7

💭 "Analysts are the primary users of Pigment, and they're super happy that we manage to automate part of what they do." Our co-founder and CEO Eléonore Crespo recently joined the Upstarts Media Podcast, where she talked about how Pigment customers are empowering analysts to automate the cumbersome data tasks that dominate their day to day work — allowing them to become strategic partners to the enterprise at large. DECLASSIFIED: Unless you're a Pigmenaut, you probably didn't know that our quarterly Product Releases are named after colors 🎨 Not just any colors. Pigments. In alphabetical order. Bold creative territory for a company called Pigment, we know! It all started with our very first live version: Amber. Then came Blueberry 🫐, Coral 🪸, Dandelion 🌼... and quarter after quarter, the alphabet marched on. Which brings us to a problem whoever started this tradition clearly did not think through: we've reached the letter X. After some extensive research, we've landed on a shortlist of possibilities: 💚 Xanadu 💛 Xanthic 🖤 Xiketic 🤍 X-Ray 🧡 Xanthous Yes, these are all real colours. Mostly… So drop your guess for our next release in the comments ⬇️ Or tell us if we’ve missed a really good X-starting name!
