Au début de l'été, nous avons eu l'immense plaisir de célébrer les diplômés de l'École Camondo, qui ont choisi de donner à leur promotion 2026 le nom d'Andrée Putman. Un hommage qui nous touche profondément et dont ces images retracent quelques instants. Ce choix revêt une résonance toute particulière. Rattachée à l'institution Les Arts Décoratifs, aux côtés du musée des Arts décoratifs, du musée Nissim de Camondo et des Ateliers du Carrousel, l'École Camondo occupe une place unique dans le paysage français de l'architecture intérieure et du design. Sa pédagogie, nourrie par le dialogue permanent entre création, patrimoine, culture et innovation, fait profondément écho à la vision qu'Andrée Putman a portée tout au long de sa carrière. À cette occasion, le Studio Andrée Putman est heureux d'annoncer deux distinctions destinées à accompagner les talents de demain : • Le Prix Andrée Putman de la Jeune Création, dont le lauréat bénéficiera d'une exposition au sein de notre galerie parisienne à l'occasion de la Paris Design Week. • L'Andrée Putman International Emerging Talent Award, qui offrira à son lauréat une visibilité dans notre galerie de New York. Elles seront remises en septembre, puis mises à l'honneur au sein de nos galeries de Paris et de New York, offrant à leurs lauréats une visibilité auprès de nos publics. Ces prix prolongent un engagement qui était au cœur de l'histoire d'Andrée Putman : découvrir, encourager et révéler les créateurs de demain. We are honored to announce that our Mille et un Carré table (Collector Edition) has won the Bel Ouvrage Award Craft. This recognition celebrates the savoir-faire, detail, and passion poured into this special edition. Created for Andrée Putman’s centenary, the table features silvered tiles that capture and fragment light, transforming the surface into a living landscape of reflections. Studio Andrée Putman is pleased to present, from May 4 to July 20, 2026, a curated scenography for Bel Ouvrage Venezia | Il Corpo della Materia at the Chiostro della Madonna dell’Orto in Venice. In a spatial composition that transforms this historic 15th-century site through a subtle deployment of rigid veils, the exhibition highlights iconic editions, including the Mille et un Carré table, collector edition. It is a unique dialogue between collectible design and the Venice Biennale, featuring a refined selection that celebrate the essence of materials and exceptional craftsmanship. In Milano, Andrée Putman is pleased to showcase the Elephant bench within the choreographed parcours curated by the French Living in Motion collective and designed by Jakob+MacFarlane. Conceived in the late 1980s for the CAPC Museum of Contemporary Art in Bordeaux, the Elephant bench was designed as an integral part of architectural space. Both functional and poetic, it embodies the singular spirit of Andrée Putman, an everyday object reinterpreted with subtle theatricality and quiet elegance. The Andrée Putman gallery in Paris presents the studio's work and approach to design. Imagined as a house to be lived in, La Galerie is made of two generous reception rooms, filled with natural light, opening onto a landscaped garden. It is conceived as a priveleged environment in which to present collections in context and accompany both prescribers and private clients in their projects.
